It started all bad. When I go to a restaurant I want to see a menu board and speak with an employee. I was very disappointed to be greeted by a computer and then even more disappointed to learn there was no menu and I had to try to find what I wanted on a computer, which I didn't become of the shady way the computer is set up to get you to order higher priced food. This is all bad, are the prices less because your not having to pay a cashier? .... nope. Also how can I see all you have to offer on a computer? I noticed the main screen was mostly offers for burger combo which are the most expensive items and the combos were default to a more expensive combo and not the small, shady business move to make more money. There was no value menu for the 1$ items, unless it’s buried in the computer somewhere.
It was even worse from there, I learned my food order is not delivered by a face either, and is just thrown on a counter until I pick it up..... why have we done away with customer service from employees? Also there is no condiments or utensils in the lobby and the drink machine is a computer too 😢. This is terrible.
have you not noticed this is why Chic Fil A and Publix is so successful, people don’t want computers to serve and order they want to see a face and experience conversation. This is probably why the drive thru is so busy here and not the lobby.
In the end do away with the computer ordering and bring back customer service by a person and have a menu board there. I know what your trying to do by making it contemporary, but remember your a fast food restaurant and that’s why people go there. If I wanted my food by computer and no Face I may as well go to a vending machine.
PS the salad was very Watery and had not been prepared properly making it more of a soup and the burger was slopped together and...
Read moreWent through the drive through today (7/20/22) for 2 taco salads and 1 med strawberry frosty. Didn't take long at all and both employees I came in contact with were very polite. Decided I would pull over and check my order before driving 8 miles back to the park where I was meeting for lunch. No salsa and no sour cream for either salad. That meant the convenience of the drive through was now out the window because I had to park and go in. I saw the same young man that filled the order and told him what was missing. He said that they were out of salsa but he could probably hook me up with some sour cream. That proved to be more difficult than it sounded but eventually 2 little packets arrived. While waiting I doubled checked with the young man that had originally packed the bags and ask if he had remembered to pack silverware. Oh yes ma'am, I was assured he had. Off I eventually went only to get to my final destination and found that there were no napkins no forks, no knives only 2 spoons for the chilli and the tortilia chips were a week past the sell by date. Not that that would normally have bothered me but these puppies were so stale the we were actually unable to eat them. The place was overrun with employees but they all appeared pretty young. Where's the manager??? It's YOUR job to train these kids and make sure they are equipped to do their jobs correctly not only with the supplies they need but also the knowledge of how to handle situations as they arise and in food service there are ALWAYS situations. I worked in the business for 37 years. I know. Sorry Mr./Ms. manager, this one's on you. If this was the first messed up order I would definitely return but unfortunately it is...
Read moreWhere do I begin! I am so aggravated with the management of the Groveland Florida Wendy’s location. Myself and my family frequent this location A LOT. The past 3 months the service has been less than poor! Here’s my list, On several occasions they have closed early at 830pm when they advertise later hours..10pm dine inside and 1am drive through. . Multiple occasions their systems are down and they cannot take orders… I’ve been told to come back in half an hour! Yeah on the way home from work.. that is not happening! Then there’s the “We’re out of Big Meat, so no burgers!” This has happened twice to myself! How does a well managed hamburger restaurant run out of hamburgers?? No baked potatoes..on several other occasions I’m told, “We don’t have any Frosty’s or they say that they only have one flavor.” They have been out of Soda products..or they can only accept cash. Listen, the first few times, I was understanding because it was due to the Pandemic lack of employees or supply. Now it’s just poor management! The Wendy’s I am talking about isn’t located near an interstate, it doesn’t depend on a vast abundance of revolving people as they travel. This Wendy’s depends on local people to stay in business. People in small towns talk to one another. Word of mouth is powerful. It’s reputation is one that it’s not a reliable restaurant. Therefore customers go elsewhere. Meaning Wendy’s in Groveland will close due to lack of business. With they’re present lack of outstanding service to the community closing is inevitable! They’ve lost my family’s business. My husband, daughter and myself will travel an additional couple of miles to Wendy’s in the next...
