Barcelona Coffee and Bistro — Restaurant in Guaynabo

Went in for breakfast and got out disappointed. Food quality was good. Coffee was excellent. HOWEVER... Service needs to improve. The cashier was in a hurry when I ordered (there was no one else in line!). I explained that it was my first time in, and she didn't care to welcome me or helped me by telling me about the things I could order... I asked for coffee to come out with my food and seeing that it was taking forever, I approached another server that was handling orders on the coffee counter. I very politely asked her if they could give me my coffee before my food and she replied "Let me see... but Im not sure, we are very busy here." Of course, she didn't even try to ask anyone else about it. She was handling the building's orders that needed delivery. I know because immediately after I approached her, she started ranting to the cook and another server about the tickets being misplaced and about some other guy not being helpful. - A complete mess! Stressful attitudes all over the place. I decided to order another coffee to see if they would put it out first, being that it was just a coffee, but nop, it came out with the food too! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I did not mind the 2 coffees, but the service left a lot...

I went there for breakfast, sadly it was bad, I was looking for like scrambled eggs and bacon, how can you mess this up?, the food tasted meh and they served very little, I even got a rolled eye while ordering because I asked for maybe bacon or sausage, was told the eggs already have ham in it 😵‍💫. Asked for bread and where pointed to prepackaged ones that tasted a day old at least. Everything was double the price of other places around. Looking for something good to eat, look somewhere else. First and last visit. And well the atmosphere look ok if that's what interests you... PS, The deli at supermax or even McDonald's serves...

No croissants. Seriously? Taking the name Barcelona, let alone Panadería, feels just slanderous.

No heavy cream either?

They have a sign showing you all the different styles of cafe con leche y espresso, but the staff doesn’t seem to know what you’re talking about if you ask for a flat white (hey the sign is in English). Cappuccinos come with a mountain of canned whipped cream (call it something else maybe but it’s really not a cappuccino). Takes 10 min to get a coffee with only one person in line ahead of you. Takes 20 min to get food.
