I went to this chipotle for the first time in Gulf breeze by the Gulf breeze high school, and there was a lady who was in a terrible mood. She was frustrated the second I walked in. She had dark eyes and a short ponytail with reddish brown hair.
I kindly proceeded to order my kids quesadillas and a veggie bowl and proceeded to let her know which rice and beans I wanted, but then when we got to the vegetables, there is a few scattered veggies at the bottom of the pan so I requested fresh vegetables since there’s not even enough (and cause like it’s the bottom of the barrel and full of oil) and she was so appalled that I could dare to ask! I told her I’m fine waiting I understand that it could take a few minutes. and she didn’t say very much besides that it would be a few minutes. She then ordered the kitchen guys to grill more veggies and walked away. The guys on the grill were completely awkward because they knew she was probably being so rude - no one was smiling so there was definitely some negative energy in there. I asked the cashier if the lady was always this rude. She said no that she was having trouble.
After that, the lady on the food line forgot about the two cheese quesadillas she put in the burrito press and when I went to pay for the food, she told the cashier not to let me pay until my burrito bowl is finished. Meanwhile, my kids are hungry and screaming, and don’t understand why I can’t bring them their food so I tell the cashier I’m happy to pay for the two dishes for my children while I wait for the third dish. (Why couldn’t she think of that? Cause that lady also had the poor cashier stressed out).
My daughter was crying at this point so I walked around the corner to grab a napkin and when I came back, I had vegetables in my bowl and a few more people started coming in. But it was just a very small portion of veggies and I swear it was the veggies that I didn’t want from the pan before it was swapped out. She must’ve slid in before putting the new vegetable pan in and I was just so livid at that point I didn’t even bother asking for more veggies. I just accepted that either I’m just gonna bite my tongue or rip her a new one and because my kids were there I chose the first option. I didn’t even love the food. It was cold and sloppy - I couldn’t finish it. It was such a terrible experience, but I didn’t have time to order a whole new dish and complain because I had my two kids with me and they needed my full attention. I should never have had to deal with any of this that is just so incredibly crazy to deal with at chipotle. I expect that maybe at a gas station to deal with someone like that.
The cashier (bless her heart- long blonde-ish brown hair with light eyes) continued to check on us a few times and was absolutely the most kindhearted person. I feel bad that she has to work with such a rude person who is probably the shift lead.
Whoever she is, take her off the line if she’s got a problem or has a personal problem or whatever the heck is going on. Nobody should be subjected to this...
Read moreHorrible experience. Got there when they opened, ordered carne asada bowls for me and my wife. Guy at the front counter was nice. He scooped our rice and beans and the meat we wanted was not on the line ,guy behind him was slicing it and taking his sweet time, acted annoyed that we order it. Proceeded to take forever before giving it to the gentleman even had the nerve to walk around him and stock the online order area first probably waited 5+ minutes just for the meat. Everything was ice cold. Me and my wife was really disappointed especially because they aren't really the cheapest. So our food was cold we barely ate any! Take leftovers home. My wife did not even want them but I already paid 40+ dollars for 2 bowls chips and cheese and drinks. The next day I go to heat the leftover to eat and come to notice there was hair and a piece of plastic glove or parchment or something like that in the bowl. Tossed everything in the garbage. I WILL never eat at this Chipotle again. Whole experience overall was horrible and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I would expect better being in the gulf breeze area. If I could give 0...
Read moreHad high hopes for this Chipotle but they’ve missed the mark. Have gone half a dozen times now and haven’t been satisfied yet.
Customer service is awful. Bunch of lippy teenagers work the line that simply don’t listen. I say “light sour cream” then they’ll proceed to dump an obscene amount right in the middle thus ruining my food. Then I ask them to remake it and they get visually and verbally upset that they didn’t listen. The funniest part is half of them don’t even know how to wrap a burrito. I’ve actually asked them not to anymore because a portion of my food just pours out the side while they attempt to roll out. Instead of redoing it they just discard the food I paid for.
Chicken has been undercooked twice now. The grill master also cuts the meat larger than any other store I’ve been to. Most of the time it’s not cut through so it’s just half cut chunks of chicken. Wanted to try the steak and fajitas but it’s always dead on the line. Ask them to make it fresh and they say they can’t.
As a former GSM of Chipotle in Dallas I would highly suggest your reevaluates the staff. 10% more effort would turn this stores...
