Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Gulf Breeze

Omg! Terrible even after a week.This store should have never opened .The ladies restroom is always out of toilet paper. My children had to use paper towels and that’s a huge no no.The turkey on the turkey blt melt sandwich tasted like it was out of date. The manager was loud and obnoxious. She didn’t know we walked in the store and we heard her saying “What in the actual F@#*”!!!! Though I wanted to walk out with my family I wanted DQ like the good ole days when my Grandparents took my siblings cousins and myself out for swirled cones .Although I wanted to reflect on memories and possibly make new ones with my children. I found out shortly that wasn’t going to happen by just being in there for 5 minutes.The manager hollers “What???!!!???” To employees that are asking about customers orders .Basically we waited on our food for almost 30 minutes and no it wasn’t because they were making it hot and fresh . They hired too many children and too many people in the kitchen at once period. They served fries that looked like they had black pepper dropped in them and that should be a health hazard serving big clogs of burned grease.You would think at least in the beginning they would try to maintain good restaurant ethics .I will not be visiting this store ever again . The breakfast I can say the one time I did get it on my way to work was delicious and the coffee you could taste the good old fashioned roast. If you ask me children should only work on weekends or only for a few hours. The manager looks as if she’s no older than 22 ,they should hire someone older and with more knowledge on running a business. It’s as if the manager focuses on trying to be so cool that she can’t focus on her job .not that anything’s wrong with that.i don’t know who chose her to become a manager but they didn’t make a wise decision.Im pretty sure all of us are hard working citizens and when I spend my cash I would like to get my money’s worth. That restaurant should be closed down until they retrain a lot of employees and starting with the manager or find someone else who can handle it.Someone a little older and mature...

I normally don't write reviews, but felt compelled to do something. We were very excited to hear about the new Dairy Queen in Gulf Breeze as it was always a childhood favorite that we wanted to share with our kids. The first time we went we ordered 4 blizzards, 2 being chocolate extreme blizzards. All of the blizzards only had a small amount of ingredients mixed in the top inch of the cups and the rest was just vanilla ice cream, which was a huge disappointment considering 2 were supposed to be chocolate extreme blizzards made with chocolate ice cream for starters. We guessed that it was just growing pains and the staff would become better trained over time. We went back again a couple of weeks later and ordered 3 blizzards which were mixed slightly better, however, we also ordered a triple chocloate brownie sundae that they gave to us with no ice cream or hot fudge, just a brownie in a container. They did fix it, but it started making us nervous about training. Not sure if it was rung up wrong or made wrong. We also thought we would order some burgers this time. They looked ok, but we all had bad stomach aches all night. The staff seemed very confused about what to do and how to handle orders, very flustered. The manager stood behind the cashier and said nothing and did nothing to help, only looking straight forward during the chaos. Disappointed to say we won't be back unless something...

Amazing customer service!!! I was super pleased with the staffs patience with me!!! I ask many questions and to top it off I’m a complete nutty ice cream Sunday of my own because once I’m done adding , subtracting, and trying it’s usually some invention that took place right at the front counter!! We got blizzards they were so filling, the creamyness of the ice cream was smooth perfect amount of sweetness of course we both got two very different cold treats. The ingredients were 5star worthy I love when you order a banana in your blizzard and it is marks and bruising free, they were fast but very percise my order was made perfect!!! The guy at the register with the black hair he truly loves Dairy Queen he takes a high standards approach while there and we have left with a smile both times. Looking for a family friendly invironment, or just u and the boyfriend, or better yet you just want to enjoy some decadent yummy creammy goodness then yes Dairy Queen is the perfect spot , also their ooowwwyy gooooeyyy cakes are out of this world! Cakes with real cake batter or cakes completely ice cream any event , or craving they can exceed your expectations of sub par or normal nope not even close, over the top terrific food fabulous staff, and the very best creamy ice cream...
