Mikee's Seafood — Restaurant in Gulf Shores

We had a party of 9, they knew this as they called our name and party size when our table was ready, then proceeded to take us to a table with only 8 seats. The waitress was super rude interrupting and rushing us when trying to order and acted very ill that we asked to move tables because the one they put us at wasn’t big enough. Then when we did order she forgot to put our order in. The people who sat at the table we were originally sat at and another large party that sat after us, got their food, ate, and paid before we ever got our food to the table. It took us TWO hours to get our food, and we were missing half of our sides. We were done eating before the waitress came to check to see if we were missing anything. Thankfully my husband got up to get crab crackers or my son wouldn’t have even been able to eat his crab legs. When we asked for the manager, and I explained to her what all had happened, the manager asked “what do you want me to do about it?” I asked her for the things we didn’t receive to be taken off the ticket, as we were just ready to go at this point. It took her another hour to get the ticket fixed and it was STILL wrong. The waitress didn’t ask who was on what ticket so everything was just mixed up and randomly placed on three different tickets. We told her forget it and we would pay it all as one ticket since it took so long for her to split it the first time. This took another significant amount of time because she said she didn’t know how to combine the tickets. I told her we had been there for hours, and she basically called us a liar and said we didn’t sit down til an hour after we really did. I showed her a time stamped photo on my phone of my daughter that I had taken when we sat down, and she still said I was lying. Everyone was extremely rude and argumentative, trying to justify their poor service. They did not apologize or do anything to correct their mistakes but said we were lying and they did nothing wrong. The food we did receive was good, with the exception of one plate that was cold. But the service and management ruined it. I will never be back and do not recommend to anyone. Especially people with children. My two year old and 7 month old was upset the entire time asking where...

my group of 5 is on vacation & we decided to go here for dinner, we were all starving & ready for some good food. our friends had been here previously & it was a good experience at that time. to start off the place is crammed on the inside, even when you are sat at a larger table there is no room to be comfortable. 3 of us got all you can eat crab legs for $60 a person. we asked a lady at the table behind us if her crab legs were any good, she said the crab meat would not come out of the shell. i have had crab legs numerous times at restaurants, i can easily tell if it is over cooked or not fresh. we all had 1 batch each to start (we did not get another batch) the crab was 100% over cooked. the crab meat would not come out of the shell & it did not taste super fresh. our waitress was very kind when we brought it up to her, she brought her manager over, i don’t remember the lady’s name. we were very respectful about the situation just letting her know the crab was not good at all, she automatically became very rude, raising her voice & defensive. she stated there was no way the crab was over cooked….. even though everyone’s crab was… & the lady behind us eating it said the same thing. we were all trying to decide if we were going to order something else to eat, she did not even give us time to decide & she reached over all of our food & snatched the plates away. this was a horrible experience & we will not be going back here again. if you are going to come here just know you will be disappointed...

We arrived at the restaurant at 6:09pm and was told we only needed to wait for 35-40 minutes. We kept hearing name after name called back to be seated. I asked how many more were ahead of us and she said 3-4. Then we heard group after group called back and after 30 minutes I asked how many more were in front of us and she said 3-4. I told her she said that 30 minutes ago and she then said well we had a party of 19 to seat. After 1 hour and 15 minutes we finally got a seat. We had to wait another 10 minutes to get a high chair and for someone to take our drink orders. The waiter was rude and acted like she did not want to be there. She never told us specials or anything. We ordered appetizers and waited and those finally came out. Then she said she would be back to take our orders, took awhile and then she came back and took our order. After we were about done eating and my husband drank all his water 5 minutes prior she asked if he wanted more water and finally gave him a refill. So we waited and waited for her to come back and we finally flagged her down to get us boxes. She asked if we wanted anything else and we said we wanted a check. I did not leave her a tip because service was terrible. The restaurant was very unclean and the hostess told us it was a 35-40 minute wait and it was 1 hour and 15 minute wait. Also I am 6 months pregnant and was not offered a seat or anything. I would not recommend them. Food was not bad but definitely not...
