Parking is $5 for 4 hours just off of the U-shaped drive. Pay with credit card at the kiosk and put the receipt in on your dashboard. You can reduce your seating wait time if you’re open to indoor or outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is wooden picnic benches overlooking the beach. There is no canopy over outdoor seating. The picnic benches are not painted, so if it rained recently these are going to stay wet for a while. May want to bring a trash bag to sit on, unless they change to seating they can wipe down. The Pink Pony mural on the walkway up to the entrance is a must for pic. There’s another good photo opp at the lot Pink Pony sign hanging over the bar. Drinks and food were great. The Classic Cobb Salad had a lot of chopped bacon on it. Not just bacon bits, but legit bacon. Looked like a 1/4 cup on there. I substituted honey mustard for ranch dressing. Would order this again. The Honey Roasted Turkey and Bacon Club was good too. This sandwich had 1/4 inch slabs of turkey, not thin-sliced deli style. Another good item. The Garlic Parmesan Shrimp Spaghettini was the best though. The jalapeños were mild. Mind you this could be different for each dish as there is a lot of variation in Scoville heat units from jalapeño to jalapeño. My 12 year-old said it tasted pretty mild as far as heat. Really good flavor. It was quite a bit of food. It could be shared between two people. On to the drinks. The $10 frozen Watermelon Margarita was excellent. Could barely taste the tequila, but still potent. I preferred the $8 Raspberry Blast. Forgot the name of the third drink with coconut, but it was also good. All drinks came in plastic/styrofoam cups. 18% gratuity was auto added for a group of 6 people. Bathroom was clean. Planning to come back next year and try some different drinks.
7/21/23 Update: Your whole party needs to be there to be put in for a table. We were there around 6:30 in the evening, and the weather was pleasant on the deck, even though the heat index had been 107° that day. The nachos are HUGE. Seriously, 2-3 people could split these. They were fairly good. I would order them again. I tried the World Famous Sourdough Burger this time. It was a very mild sourdough. No distinct flavor from the onions or Swiss cheese either. I prefer a wider range of flavor, but that’s just me. Some folks would definitely like it. Well cooked. Fries were nice and crisp. Would probably split a shrimp spaghetti with someone if I had to do it again. We had it last time, and had it again this time. It’s still...
Read moreTonight I entered this establishment with my good friend and her mom, famished after a long day of being by the beach and shopping, just looking for a nice meal to replenish us. Unfortunately I find myself leaving in a more exhausted state than I was when I walked in, because I had to deal with some of the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. We arrived, somewhat expecting a short wait, however the first issue that arose was the hostess writing our name down without another word on the wait or how long it was. After a solid 15 minutes of standing in a very cramped area, we were finally led to our table. As we browsed the menu for quite some time, we couldn’t help but realize we hadn’t been waited on for 20 minutes, in addition to the 15 minutes we spent waiting for a table. Finally, we went up to ask what the hold up was, and were told that the hostess “forgot” to assign a waitress to our table. After some more time had passed, we finally got to placing our order. We waited ANOTHER 30 minutes to receive our food, which, by the way, were very small portions for both the physical and mental price we paid for this experience. The table next to us received both their food and appetizers in the time that it took to even place our order, and overall we observed a lack of care and regard for the customers that entered this restaurant. The waiter was evidently trying her best, but the hostess failed to execute both our service and the split check we asked for. I’m sad to say I would have considered buying one of the fashionable T-shirts for sale but given the circumstances, I had no interest in giving any more money to this establishment. It probably would have taken another 30 minutes to get anything...
Read moreWas seated, we asked to sit outside on the patio. Waitress ( didn't catch her name) very dry and unfriendly. Did get gator bites for appetizer. They were pretty good with the tiger sauce and were piping hot when brought out. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri which was really delicious and refreshing. But it was served in a Styrofoam cup. We ordered two of the grilled shrimp and fries. They were really good and the right amount of flavor. Right around the time we received our food, waitress came and said she was leaving for the day and someone else would be taking over for her. Wasn't really checked on and then received our check and paid. Was going to buy tshirts and was told to check with the bar tender. My husband asked for the size he needed, and the bartender asked a couple other people about tshirts (employees) . Noone including bar tender seemed very interested In assisting us to buy tshirts. When I asked the bartender what designs there was, he rudely said they're on the wall. Well I had never seen them, first time being there and was seated outside, so I never saw them. Was interested in shirts as part of the experience and trip, but decided if this is how rude they are here, forget it. He just kept walking off and acted uninterested in assisting us.I think sometimes workers forget that customers patronage is what pays their wages. On top of that, additional purchases increase revenue for the business. Was the food good? Yes Location? Okay. Outdoor seating nice enough with the view. But nothing over the top fabulous. Workers? Not friendly AT ALL...
