I purchased the King Pao chicken on 21JUN19, upon tasting the first piece of chicken, I was completely disgusted at the texture and taste. The building had no A/C, I felt bad for the poor employees that were subjected to those conditions. I was surprised because I've had their food before but today was different. The chicken had no flavor, the sauce was bland and the veggies had a weird texture. I turned around and brought the food back as soon as I left the parking lot. I politely asked if they would switch the chicken out with a different kind (not trying to get over on anyone it was just gross). The manager became very upset and stated that he wouldn't make any money off of my plate if he changed the chicken out because he couldn't reuse the chicken since it was in the sauce (that made me wonder if he reuses food). I will dispute the charge once the charge posts to my account. Its unfortunate that the issue was not resolved in the restaurant because I was actually about to refer them to all of my coworkers but there are much better options out there.
UPDATE:
My bank refunded the money I spent at Wok Express. I will never patronize this...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant, and while the staff was exceptionally friendly, my overall experience left much to be desired. It seemed like they might have been short-staffed during my visit, as the floors were sticky, and a few tables needed cleaning. However, this could be attributed to their busy atmosphere.
One notable aspect was the affordability of the menu, offering generous portions for the price. Unfortunately, the food quality did not match the value. The dishes lacked flavor, with the chicken tasting bland and reminiscent of styrofoam. The rice had an unpleasant grainy texture, and the egg roll had a temperature inconsistency, being cold inside while crispy outside. The saving grace were the potstickers, which were the only consistently good item.
As someone who encourages supporting local restaurants, I regret to say that this establishment falls short of being a go-to choice. My visit was a result of convenience while passing through Gulfport, as it was the closest option to...
Read moreI’m annoyed with this place. First off, why are we tipping at a drive-through? I don’t need to sign the clipboard for you to run my debit card for fast food. You guys don’t make me sign it every time I come there, only when there is a young girl working the window. Next, I’ve stopped eating the eggrolls because the grease they are fried in taste rancid or maybe the eggrolls are freezer burned before they’re dropped in the grease, but they’re inedible. The chicken teriyaki is more like chunk carrot teriyaki. Stupid Americans weed eat anything nowadays. I will not be back here. Traditional potstickers aren’t fried, they’re steamed. Watch some Netflix. 🙄 I don’t think one employee ever looked up from their cell phone, other than them to ask me for a tip and hand me...
