The one star is for bait and switch.
We went here once a couple years ago. They were on Upside saying 6% back when you eat at Big Norm's, then when you get in the restaurant there's a sign that says 6% credit card fee.
If you don't have the promotion, you pay a 6% credit card fee and don't even get the "rebate".
No processor that I am aware of is charging 6% to take a credit card. I'm also unaware of any other restaurant that has a 6% credit card fee. Most don't have any fee.
The highest swipe fee I'm aware of are American Express cards, which are relatively rare and still aren't even 3%. There's about 19 MasterCards and about 29 Visa cards in circulation for every AmEx, and those cards have lower fees.
With AmEx you might be paying 2.5% plus a fraction of a point to Toast or something, but with most it's less than 2%, and for every 48 Visas and MasterCards you might get 1 customer with an AmEx.
The whole reason to take AmEx is that they're more selective with their customers, so they serve a population with more disposable income and higher credit scores and thus command a premium in the interchange market as these people tend to have higher orders. While the others get more volume, AmEx gets more revenue.
Anyway, I really hate when businesses try to cram sneaky fees that so blatantly have no relation to what they're actually paying for said swipe fee. So we almost never return...

So I started paying attention to when I order how many times I see the guy push something and it seemed as if he pressed 50 cent when I wanted it dipped or extra dipped and when I said cheese same thing hit it twice so it completely put a bad taste in my mouth, did I mention maybe 2 times out off 3 the owner was ringing me up I mention it to him passively but it seemed like he just ignored me in a way, it depends on what you order he said .
