Ohsio Sushi — Restaurant in Waukegan

The sushi is pretty decent. Freshness and flavor are on par with any good sushi joint in the area. They have a ton of options, which I think is really cool. The pricing is probably the best sell of the place, as it is very reasonable. I had their spider crab sushi burrito, and my wife had their rolls. They were both pretty damn good. Great taste to both.

The ramen isn't worth an order. Ramen being one of my favorite comfort foods, I was pretty disappointed with theirs. It was probably the same quality as something you can get in a grocery instant pack. You get a thin sliver of pork, some scallions, a small bundle of carrots, and half a hard boiled egg as garnishes.

Their bubble tea, milk tea, and smoothies are worth it. They've got a variety of flavors, as well as bobas, jellies and tapiocas. Price and size are reasonable, and all are very flavorful. It's a huge draw, and often brings in tons of people from all around.

I am a sushi fanatic. And I can honestly say this place has the best sushi I have ever tasted in my life. The chefs are amazing. Every bite was delicious! You can tell how much love and effort they put into every dish. Their presentation is phenomenal. I love that Waukegan has this little hidden treasure. I honestly will recommend it to anyone. I hope this review brings this place even more business since they honestly deserve it. They have such lovely personality, definitely pros at great customer service. I know they had a recent reopening due to covid. So, glad they are back!!! I hope people are able to spread the word more about this amazing place. And the best part is that their prices are very reasonable. I've been to more expensive sushi places that didn't taste half as good. This used to be my go to place because it was convenient but after multiples tries I stopped going. In the ramen the meat portion is so small it’ll be gone in a bite . The sushi is fine nothing out of this world, the fried rice needs more sauce it lacks in that department. But disregarding all of that, the service is what really made me stop going every time I called to place and order I felt as if I called the wrong number they would answer with a ..hello? If I was lucky and if not she would stay quiet until I said hello, as someone who works in the restaurant industry I was always taught to answer calls with a greeting and most importantly when someone walked in to say hello or how are you and not just stand there as if the customer walked into the wrong place.it always felt like an inconvenience to order so I just stopped...
