Ordered via the app for IN STORE PICKUP. Estimated ready time was 4-7min. Cool, i already know how this particular Starbucks rolls (typically slow) so I arrive at the 10 min mark. There is sign on the door that says "dining area closed, drive-thru only) and the door is locked. I see 3 employees inside working. The drive-thru line is LONG! It took over 20 min waiting in the drive-thru line to get my drinks which by that time had to be sitting for 30 min so you can imagine their condition. The drinks were seperated & watered down because the ice had melted. I ask for the manager but only the shift supervisor is available. I let her know that I use the app for in store pickup as a convenience and at this point, I'm totally INCONVENIENCED. I suggest that they disable that feature if they can't offer it because I'm not the only customer who is being INCONVENIENCED (I witnessed multiple customers walk up to the door only to walk back disappointed & get in the drive-thru line). Her response "I can't do anything about that". She then tries to hand me drink that's been sitting for 30min & I tell her that I need a new one because it looks unappetizing. She does so begrudgingly. With good customer service she would have never handed me something that looks like that & the first thing out of her mouth would have been an apology and something to the effect of "thank you for your feedback, I'll pass it along to the manager". That place is totally unprofessional & doesn't deserve this...

I miss the old staff every time I went in there they knew my name they knew exactly what I wanted.. and she would kindly say my name and tell me the usual?? They would talk to me for long periods of time while working that's how good they were.. it's been a lot of change of staff during the years..oh tho I like the manager there now and the staff I truly miss the old staff.. not too happy with the remodeling I prefer the old style as well that's one of the reason why I stopped coming here.. it's almost like you have no privacy now it's wide out and open.. at least before there were little tables that were in the side and the back where you had a little more privacy.. but my favorite ones was the stool by the windows which was removed with the remodeling it was fun to sit close to the window and absorb everything that was happening while having a great cup of coffee.. that's one of the reason I prefer the one in Gurnee now because they still have the windows stools..other than that it's a great place great staff but I miss the old ones and the window...
Read moreEvery single time without fail they mess something up. First time I went there, they put my order on the pick up counter but never called my name. By time I got up there to ask them about it, my food was cold and my drink was watered down.
2nd time, they put real milk in one of my drinks even though I was very clear and adamant about my spouse’s milk allergy which almost sent her to the hospital. But stupid me thought “it’s been a while and maybe there’s different staff.” So I decided to give it one more shot.
The stuck up girl that made one of my drinks damn near whispered that on of my drinks was ready and there was a bag behind it. When I went to ask her if the bag behind it was my food order. She made me feel like I was some creep hitting on her (to which I promise I was not). Not to mention the 2nd drink just tasted like they poured milk in coffee.
Lesson learn and message received. I will never set foot in that...
