Arby's — Restaurant in Guthrie

This location could use a change in management that’s actually effective. Either that or training on customer service etiquette needs to be reinforced with some of the workers. Drive-thru is never an issue, but the customer service inside is atrocious. The poor customer service seems to have increased over the past few months. Tonight I witnessed a customer leave due to not being acknowledged and I couldn’t blame him. There was no “Welcome in, I’ll be with you shortly.” or any kind of greeting, just completely ignored. I have experienced this myself and witnessed this on a few occasions.

My business there tonight was DoorDash. I arrived at 8:12 and did not receive the order until 8:32. Communication on an unavailable item was not done in a timely manner as well. While I waited, I couldn’t help but to notice the uncleanliness behind the counter and the build up on the ice machine/drink fountain (I wish I would’ve taken a photo). Yuck! This used to be one of the best Arby's around but I wouldn't recommend it unless you like playing Russian roulette with what you might get. Ordered a fish sandwich with cheese, roast beef slider, large curly fries and a drink and only the drink was decent. The fish sandwich had no cheese, was barely warm, and tasted processed. The roast beef slider was ice cold and don't get me started on those disgusting curly fries. Cold, old (looked like they were about a week old), and bits and pieces instead of curls (I don't understand why they can't have a consistent batch of curly fries instead of those nasty hard pieces). I will say that the reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the manager that I spoke with (a young lady named Angela) was very nice, apologetic, and offered a free meal to replace this one. I was there yesterday around noon. It took 30 minutes to get a well done burger. The first was not! Dawson fixed another one. Said sorry about that. The tables were not clean. It looked like some one as an afterthought swiped a cloth on counter where drinks located. Diet Dr Pepper spewed syrup and little C02. HI-C as well. I reported this to two different employees. They both just stared at me. Four more couples...all traveling through were waiting and upset. Only 3 employees working. Windows and doors fingerprints highly visible!
