Upon recent visits, the location does seem to be cleaner. The food is still the same, but I don't feel like I'm going to catch something off the tables. Contrary to another post by someone that is confused or just posting lies to make this McDonald's look good or has been having too many unbagged tall boys before coming here, there is NO McDonald's Playland at this location inside or out unless you're counting the mud puddle under the tree that shows up in the rain.
Additionally, their hours are listed as being 24 hours. This is NOT true. Only the drive through is open 24 hours. The inside dining room closes at 11:00 PM and reopens at 5:30 AM-ish. So if you've had a couple and decided to walk, don't try this place after 11:00 PM as their drive through doesn't serve walk ups.
No loitering signs plastered all over the place. Electrical outlets locked with metal plates and padlocks, but they offer Wi-Fi just bring your own electricity. No smoking anywhere on the property. Rude managers (Melissa is the worst), dirty booths, filthy bathroom. This location is obviously supported by its drive through and the management and staff couldn't care less about the customers inside the restaurant. As you can see from the included photos, upon occasion you can expect to find hairs in your drinks and food. Lastly, the bugs in the air outnumber the guests at least 2 to 1... If you don't like gnat infested air, please don't come inside use the drive through.
New experience.... Its 5:36am.... Several employees have seen me standing outside the door. And yet the door is still locked. Of course their hours are posted as 5:30am - 11:00pm... I must be in the wrong time zone...
At 5:38am I asked the employee cleaning the lot if they were opening today... He said it should be open... I showed him the locked door and he called for a manager.... The manager said.... And I quote... I'm the only person here... I can't let anyone in. Of course there are at least 3 other employees that I can clearly see.... Suggestion... Fire that manager she obviously can't manage or there would have been no...
Read moreWe decided to give this McDonald’s another shot. Since it’s within walking distance. NEVER AGAIN!, We order a Double Quarter Pounder Large meal (Lg Fry & LG Sweet Tea), 1 small fry, 3 DOUBLE hamburgers and a LG Chocolate Shake. It took almost 35mins to receive our food. I had to remind them I was missing the chocolate shake. That alone took 15 more mins to make. The burgers were so overly cooked, I tried taking them up to show but no one would come to the counter. Even me yelling back excuse me. When I FINALLY got to sit down to try to eat mine, 1 of the burgers wasn’t a double, now It wouldn’t have been such a big deal BUT we paid extra for those DOUBLE. I went up holding the burger opened. Someone finally came to the counter. I showed her we’re it was supposed to be a double. She looked at me in shock I was complaining over something small. I also was trying to explain all of our burgers were so overly cooked& had no flavor. She was too busy flirting with 3 guys that walked in just to ask her for a phone charger. My chocolate milkshake wasn’t chocolate it was vanilla. At this point I just decided to drink it.We left out of there very upset and disappointed. Been trying to call it in. No one answers the phone. The only thing that was actually ok to eat where the fries. My fiancé, myself and my pup all have been experiencing food poisoning from the burgers. I never have seen such a disorganized, dirty establishment…. This location needs to be SHUT DOWN! Honestly 0 stars for...
Read moreEvery time I go to this location (approximately 3 or 4 times), I am absolutely disappointed and commit to never returning. After a few months, I'll give them another chance - only to be further disappointed.
Just recently, I ordered a McFlurry for curbside pick-up in the app. I arrived at the location approximately 7 minutes later, waiting for the McFlurry. Because they had "started making" it, I am unable to cancel the order. After 10 minutes of not receiving the McFlurry, I entered the drive-thru, which has two lanes. I was skipped over for the other lane twice, despite being in line longer. The folks in drive-thru were accommodating, I will say.
Upon arriving at the window to receive the food, the McFlurry was still not made - we're at about about 29 minutes after I had ordered it. The worker quickly made it, mixing it for a few seconds so that most of the Oreo cookie sat at the top. It was 31 minutes between ordering the McFlurry in the app and pulling out of the location's drive-thru.
If wanting McDonald's in the Hagerstown area, I purposely go to another location as this location always...
