Well this is the place we always go to for birthday dinners. Tonight it was my husband’s turn. The food was delicious our steaks were spot on medium rare. Yumm but our waitress Kloey was the worst one we ever had here. I should had known it was going to be a bad service day as usually the person who seats us grabs our utensils and fresh rolls as he/she seats us. No rolls today’s. Then our waitress Kloey introduced her self took our drink orders and we had to asked for rolls. Kloey brought our drinks but never asked if we would like water or something else with our meals. Kloey came by a few times to ask if we were ok, but we had to wait for her to appear so she could bring the check once we finished our dinner. Then we had a free child meal coupon, free appetizer for my husband’s birthday and he said he was military. Kloey promptly said she would have to separate the check for the child free meal and add my meal to it and we would have to pay for his separate because of the free appetizer and she would not give him the military discount. We have been coming here for 5 years twice a year for birthdays and much more for none birthday dinners. Never had we had that happened before. Then we asked for boxes and Kloey never brought them we had to ask the young Lady who brought out our salad. I went looking for Kloey to have her sing happy birthday to my husband she did but we are used to them bringing a small dessert or asking if the birthday person would like one. Not Kloey just singed and left us waiting for boxes. We will make sure that the next time we go we do not get her. I get it was Friday busy but we have been there at very busy times and the waitress has always been friendly, pleasant and gone out of their way to serve us. Never had we ever had to slip our check or had such poor service here. Like I said the food was delicious but Kloey needs to...
Read morePassing through last night and we wanted steak for dinner. It was very busy as it was Valentines and we knew we were going to have to wait a while and were ok with that. Finally got to our table and the server was not the happiest but no biggie I am sure she was over worked cause of the occasion, place was hopping. Asked if she had cider and she said no, asked if she had spiked seltzers and she said no. So settled for water. After she went away we looked at the menue and there behold they have angry orchard cider (no surprise, is a chain and if one has they all will. Not our first visit) I ordered the 8 oz sirloin and she had the 8 oz NY Strip, both steaks asked to be cooked medium. She had mashed pots and gravy with green beans and I had chilli with mashed potatoes and gravy. I received my chili very quick instead of with our meal, tasted good but was a bit concerned when I god to the bottom of the cup and there was fried chicken pcs in the bottom, so I stopped eating, no thanks. Our meals arrive and both steakes you could tell were way over cooked and we were not even asked to cut in them to verify they are cooked properly as they are supposed to do, no biggie they were busy I guess. The biggest issue I had was the size of my steak, supposed to be an 8 oz sirloin but smaller in diameter than my mashed potato bowl and was a very thin fatty grissle cut, see picture I posted. Both her and my steak were well done and no pink at all and dry unfortunately. First time I had this issue at any Texas Roadhouse. I never return food because well I have seen the movie waiting and recomend the rest of you do as well. I will chalk this up to a fluke due to Valentines and they were busy but the quality was definately lacking. Not sure if we would stop back by this one on...

We came here for my birthday lunch with a larger party. We were seated at two different tables and I inquired if we would be able to push our tables together for our party to be able to communicate, pass appetizers, etc. Our hostess initially said yes, so as we were getting ready to pull the tables together, another waitress mentions she did not want to walk around our table to get to her table, so we were told we needed to keep the tables where they were. We all had to lean over the isle in order to speak to the rest of the party with people walking in front of us back and forth, even bumping into us. When I inquired to someone else to see if it would be possible for us to maybe move to a larger table, we were told that she would speak to a manager, that the larger table had just opened up, and that the manager would be over shortly. The manager came up to our table, looked at us, and immediately walked away. I went to our waiter and asked if we would be moving and he said “why didn’t they just push your tables together?” I explained the situation and ultimately, he pushed our tables together so we could have a better dining experience. After that took place, we could all hear the waitresses and waiters behind us whispering about us, saying we were ridiculous, etc. and the manager came back, only to ask every single table around us how they were doing except for ours.
Finally, my husband asked for the traditional happy birthday singing and it ended up being the most uncomfortable thing with half of the staff just looking at the ceiling. We were not rude or disrespectful in anyway to have been treated that way. I’ve always loved Texas Roadhouse, but we won’t be going back to...
