Checkers — Restaurant in Hagerstown

The night manager has NO BUSINESS working in customer service. I won't say her name here for her privacy, but not only did she not believe me and interrupted and argued with me when I told her BOTH sandwiches I ordered without tomato had the things all over them, she kept saying "e" instead of "and", all while being soooo rude to me! I, as politely as I could on an empty stomach with a quickly-cooling, messed-up dinner, told her I was having trouble understanding her and asked her if she could speak more clearly. She then, without telling me so, puts the phone down and, unbeknownst to me, goes to get a regular employee. While waiting, I didn't know what was going on so I stood here stupidly yelling "hello!?!?" into the phone for five minutes before a non - manager employee came on the line to communicate with me. This young woman was very helpful, informative, and apologetic (although she didn't know the number for the corporate office) and wrote down my name so that next time I was close by, I could still come by to have this fixed.I had given a good review right after we pulled out of the parking lot... But then looked in my bag when I got home (20 mins one-way away from there)... disappointment and a hard time! I have heated seats in my van also so it wasn't the drive that cooled it all down, either! Oh and they charged me for a large fry when all we got was a medium. The fries were hot- ish but not filled fully, and the whole bottom of the container was a bunch of little crappy pieces, NOT real fries. Terrible night-service tonight, though usually I get okay food and service at...

This was by far the worst experience we have had in a long time at checkers . We usually are there in the day time but this time we were late nite for our family members and our self's. First of all everything we went to order they would say they didnt make at night . I found that hard to belive because it was deep fried items . But then we ordered hotdogs with lite mustard and onions. When we got them they were covered in ketchup and no onions . We ordered 3 bacon cheese burgers and they were in the bag with out bacon or the cheese .we ordered 3 chocolate shakes and they were all given to us as vanilla shakes . So I went back and knock on the window . She was hesitant to come to the window but eventually did . So I showed her the hotdogs and she said we didnt pay 50cents extra per hot dog for the onions . Well why didnt she bill us for the. when we ordered or at least made us a wear of the extra charge . And by the way when we go there thru the day they have never charged us extra for onions .so then I showed the bacon cheeseburgers that was minus the bacon and the cheese . And she had the nerve to say we didnt pay for the bacon or the cheese . Our bill was over 20 dollars so we paid for something and she never gave us a copy of our receipt. So we couldn't prove nothing. That was just uncalled for . We called corporate office and put in a complete but we havent heard nothing so we dont know if it did us any good or not . But you wont see us back...

This is the 3rd time in a row the order has been messed up. The latest, I read what is put in a sandwich because I am a picky eater. I ordered the bacon bbq mother cruncher. I asked for no cheese and no mayo( wasn't listed but wanted to make sure) person told m it doesn't come with mayo... Cool. Got home and there was some sort of white condiment on the sandwich that wasn't listed in the ingredients. So had to toss all the toppings to get rid of the white condiment. Tossed all my bacon, my sandwich didn't even come with the onion straws that the menu listed ( i didn't get them last time either) . My sandwich ended up being a mediocre chicken sandwich without bacon because it had some sort of condiment on it thay wasn't listed in the ingredients . Definitely not worth the money.. And I promise im done wasting my money at this checkers. Last 3 times my food is messed up and my husband's has been pretty pathetic looking. If I lived closer I would go back to get the refund, but it's a waste of gas to drive all the way back. At least their fries are decent. But still not worth the money.
