If I could give this location negative stars, I would. You will never speak to someone on the phone without waiting at least 30 minutes. When you pickup your script, again, plan to be waiting a minimum of 30 minutes, whether it's ready or not. The associates lie about script statuses saying it's an insurance issue but when pressed and confronted after you speak directly to your insurance, they will finally admit that's it's THEIR change of policy, even though zero notifications are given to the patient. They will tell you your insurance isn't going through and force you to pay out of pocket for meds for months (resulting in close to $1000 paid on your part), and then when a new person comes along, they're able to run your insurance with no problems (NOTHING had changed). They told me my fiance's script was ready for pickup (I spoke to an employee after being on hold for 37 minutes). He picked up and came home and noticed it was a partial fill, which wouldn't be an issue except not ONE person thought it was necessary to inform him. I could go on and on with our dissatisfaction. This is a Dual Hwy Walgreens issue, not a Walgreens as a whole issue. My fiance has literally had issues every single time he's been there to pickup his script (every month). It's literally always something and never seems to get better, just worse. Honestly, I'm not sure why we haven't switched or posted a review sooner, but that's the next step. It's too stressful dealing with this location. Some serious oversight on the company's behalf needs...

I must note this is not the usual Walgreens we pick up prescriptions. We had to have my daughter's prescription sent here because our normal one was closed. My husband walked in over a half hour after the order was called in and was told by Olivia they had received her order but it was 24th in their email and it would be about a half hour wait... No problem, we decided to wait in the car. At the 30 minute mark he tried to call in. After sitting on hold for over 15 minutes I decided to walk in. While I was waiting I witnessed Cassie prepare some vaccines for an appointment and for a while she was the only employee I saw in the pharmacy. Eventually I saw another technician working on the drive thru, but I didn't see the pharmacist until after my prescription was filled. I waited about 20 more minutes in that line (I was the only one in line when I walked in other than the vaccine appointment) until she was finally was able to receive me. When I gave her the name and birthdate I was asked very cautiously if my daughter was a CAT... when I responded no she searched in their email to see they still hadn't typed it up. A technician, definitely NOT the pharmacist mixed our medication which I'm fairly confident is illegal...
Anyway.... Hire employees and give Cassie a raise. She has incredible personable skills that suppressed my inner Karen when I have a sick baby and time matters. I truly appreciated her professional and calm demeanor while I was clearly...

I did not understand that they do not necessarily receive the prescriptions as soon as the doctors send them electronically. My pain and previous ire with their system upgrade made me raise my voice with the pharmacist and speak very rudely and I was condescending. She listened to me without interrupting and then with great compassion and kindness she apologized. She took accountability and she explained how the system worked without making any excuses. It then occurred to me she could have done what most people would have done. Been rude back. Make excuses. Blame someone else. Say it wasnāt her fault. She did none of that. She demonstrated how we all should behave in the face of misplaced anger and ego driven temper tantrums. My Creator immediately opened my eyes that I was in the wrong and this pharmacist met my bad behavior with peace and compassion and humility. God called me to the carpet. Annoying things happen everyday. We think we are entitled to a world the way we want it. Walgreens is not perfect. But the pharmacist at this Walgreens taught me a valuable lesson today about how we should treat each other as human beings. I am grateful God put her in my path. And I will continue to go back to this pharmacy as long as she is there. I made my apology. She accepted graciously. And now she has my loyalty and...
