General manager Danny has his restaurants refusing to honor the 20% off deal. Stopped in this evening and gave my code. Phone showed that it was accepted. Got to the window, and they said I owed money. Told them I paid on the app. She said no. I said I used the app, yes I did. She called for customer service and Danny came over. He said the only way you can pay on the app is through a mobile order, not ordering through the drive thru. I use this app on a weekly basis. I know how I can pay, what deals I can use. I told him that I do it all the time. He said I’m the general manager , I am telling you that you cannot use the app to pay for your food. Apparently he does not know how the app actually works. He said let me see your code. I had already got off the app after ordering. When I went back into the app it said that I could not use another deal for 20 minutes because I already used one. This is normal. He said no you did not use your app for a deal only for points. He continued to tell me I had no idea what I was talking about. I finally paid, went up and got my food and corporate number. When looking at my receipt, I saw that the 20% off was not on, nor was my name on the receipt. When I got home and could check, my email also said to come back to the app and finish my deal. Having had this issue at the store before, 20% off not taken, I know that they originally put the code in but did not finish the transaction with it on. He refuses to follow corporate procedures on what is and is not allowed on the deals. He states that combo meals (I got 3) are not eligible for 20% off. When he is not there, they accept it. When he is there, they do not. Funny thing, if you place a mobile order for pickup, the 20% off works. To stand there in front of your employees not knowing how your app works, shows that he needs more training on not only the app, but customer service as well. Read moreI visited this location many times before but my last visit was very annoying. I ordered at the window, 2 Cheeseburgers, 2 Large Fries and 2 double hamburgers plain. After being rushed through my order for 6 items I pull up to the first window with no issues of payment. I have received my food at the third window and noticed that my double hamburgers had everything on them and the fries were cold. I pulled back up to the payment window and advised the cashier that my order was incorrect. After explaining to him that I asked for the double hamburgers plain and they have everything on them he asked for the sandwiches back and I asked him for fresh fries as well while handing him the bag. He insisted he would do so and I told him I don’t mind waiting and I can park off to the side out of the way. He insisted that I should go to the second window. At the second window 2 team members repeated asked me to give them the food, what was wrong with my order and what I wanted on my sandwich. After telling them twice that I gave the good to the gentleman at the first window the members kept asking me where the receipt was and what it said on it. While it said 2 double hamburgers plain, I gave it to them and sensed attitude from the staff immediately. The staff told me to park at The mobile order area...like I suggested in the first place while they corrected my order... to bring my my double hamburgers piping hot which was great and my fries microwaved...(The carton was hot and the fries looked and felt exactly the same) instead of fresh like I said I would wait for. The fast that I had to worry about this staff contaminating my food after receiving such an attitude from the staff for 2 requests is ridiculous. JUNE 2023 UPDATE!!! 👎 An order was placed via McDonald's app using points to get a Quarter Pounder w Cheese. We were asked to pull forward to the next window. The car behind us was pulled forward, then another. About 10 minutes went by and we discussed our food hadn't come out. We waited another 5 minutes and my husband went in to see what was going on with our order. The 2nd person to pull up went in, and came back out with a bag, and left. While I waited in the car, an employee came out and talked to the 3rd that was pulled up and explained that their grill wasn't working and offered to upgrade them to a Large Chicken McNugget meal. If my husband hadn't gone in around the same time as the 2nd person to be pulled up, who knows if and when anyone would have come out.
When he went in, people were just standing around. He told an employee we hadn't gotten our food yet and she proceeded to tell him there's nothing she could do about the points. She stated that the food was free but didn't offer anything. He told her something needed to be done for the points, and it was resolved with 2 McDoubles, since they are cooked on a different grill, but neither of us appreciated the wait or the attitude.
They offered someone else a meal, so that should have been the standard for everyone who had...
