03/04/2016 A customer in front of me was unhappy with the time it took to get service (one employee making sandwiches while the other restocked) and politely asked for information to contact the manager. An older white lady missing most of her teeth and a younger black female on her first day both refused to offer the information requested. I have to describe them as neither had a name tag. The customer was unhappy but polite until they refused to give her the information she requested. The encounter escalated to the point where the employees exhibited rudeness and sarcasm and even told the customer "we get paid enough, we don't need your money...bye." WOW an employee on her first day actually said this to a customer. Two customer waiting in line left, as would I have except I only get 30 minutes for lunch and had used most of that watching this spectacle and with the customers that left I moved to the front of the line. Neither employee offered an apology which would have been an excellent start to addressing her complaint but rather made excuses and took her complaint as an attack rather than an observation. A sincere "I'm sorry" can go a long way to defusing what can and did in this case turn into a horrible example of customer service and the disrespect shown to a customer trying to...
Read moreI’ve grown up in this area, and I’ve ordered the same sandwich, for 20 years. The manager (Betsy) comes up to me, in a very rude manner asking me what bread I want… I then reply with “italian bread” this moron of a manager asks me “White or Cheese?”. Mind you I’ve ordered this sandwich for 20 years now, I’ve always said Italian bread and the employees have always given me Italian bread.. I’m not sure what neuron misfired in that head of hers, but she did not like me pointing out that there was a sign that said Italian bread, afterwards she started babbling in Spanish, which prompted me to speak to her in Spanish and that’s when I noticed her attitude towards me change. Something happened in the Walmart and the shop lifting alarms went off, which prompted her to look at me and say something that I could not understand because of her accent and laugh in an attempt at small talk. It seems like she’s only nice to spanish speakers and due to my skin color she could not tell I was hispanic. The girl at the cash register apologized for her manager’s behavior after she walked away, so that’s a plus, however Betsy somehow ruined the flavour profile of the sandwich that I ordered, mind you it’s the same order I’ve gotten over the last 20...
Read moreDid not like the service. Betsy was really rude and did not attempt to assist with my concern about a mobile order I was trying to place before hand. She basically ignored me and continued with the person after me in line. The lady in front of me agreed about how rude the service was and a gentleman that was eating in with his family got up to ask me if I needed help with anything regarding the order. Everyone noticed what happened, even the other employee that was working that day was kind of ashamed about it. I was just going to leave the store and not order anything but I was with my son that was also hungry and I had to run elsewhere. You think the location is convenient because is a one stop shop (Inside Walmart) but if you have enough time, go to a different location unless there is some else that has better customer service skills I prefer the subway across the street,...
