OK I’ve lived in Haines City for about eight years and have never known about this place . Which is funny because my husband and I drove by it almost on a daily. Off of 27 you’re going to take a right after the checkers and keep going down till you go to the gated community the opening is there on the right hand sign it is all the way in the back corner. Came here to eat for their taco Tuesday we got a flyer in the mail about it was very excited. Service is great! We had Alanís she was fantastic. They’re basic chips and salsa or OK ask for the spicy it is truly spicy it does bring up the heat to an 11/10. We also got the queso and chorizo dip to go with our chips. Worth it in our opinions. I also got a Horchata which was huge in like the size of my head. Also very tasty. We ended up getting to taco Tuesday platters I know I would skip the ground beef it was very dry. Both the chicken and the steak were very good if I had the option to get three of the steak or chicken next time. Now with the Tacos it is three tacos at a time, a thing of rice and beans we were not allowed to take them home or share them. Which is fair if you find yourself not wishing to get more than one plate I would skip taco Tuesday on Tuesday. While we were there they were celebrating one of their staff members birthdays in the open it was actually kind of nice to see a restaurant celebrate their staff members like that. But the menu itself was pretty great and had some very nice options that we would love to try next time!

First visit today for lunch and we ordered a cheese enchilada lunch and an enchilada lunch with one beef and one cheese enchilada. Both were served with beans and rice. We also ordered Queso dip. They served chips and salsa when getting us. The chips are fairly thick and the salsa is different than we have had before. It kind of reminded us of a chilled Mexican tomato soup, not spicy and really tasty. The Queso dip is a white Queso and is pretty bland. Not bad but not worth us ordering again. The enchiladas were very good. We had them prepared with a tomato sauce over them and I asked fir chopped onions on top. Both the cheese and beef enchiladas were very good and we will come back for these. Beans and rice are often not remarkable in taste and it’s much the same here. I will say that the rice is moist as rice should be. Service is friendly and our server today is Esmeralda. The hostess who seated us was friendly and so were the two other servers who brought us chips and salsa and our food. Tables are socially distanced and this was a comfortable experience during the pandemic. While we did rate this as a 3 star, it’s only because as a Texan living in Florida, my standards for excellent Mexican food is pretty high. We will be back as we would like to try some of the other menu items and may raise our rating.

I have frequented this restaurant when it was still at its original, smaller location, and it always had great staff, food, prices, and atmosphere. Since it has moved, much of that hasn't been compromised. The prices went up a bit, but they are well worth it for the quality, service, and larger space. Last night, my friends celebrated another's birthday there, despite it being an hour before the restaurant closed (an oversight on my part, but it was too late to change plans). Nonetheless, the staff all treated us the same, with friendliness and promptness, there is always a free appetizer (the chips and dip), and the food was stellar as always, which was a great impression for some of my friends who have never been! On top of that, we ordered a fried ice cream after we paid for our birthday friend, and they gave us quite a generous amount, and then we were waiting a bit for the bill, but I was worried we were going half an hour past close and some of my friends were loud, so I had my friend just go to pay... They said it was on the house! I was so shocked! I love this restaurant and their amazing staff! They even took a picture for us!

I love everything on the menu except for the beans and rice. I go to order is the shrimp alfredo and I've never had it anywhere else as good as it is here. It's such a unique taste and the french fries are amazing! It's also very pretty in there. I always order my food to go but it's very well decorated and kind of low lighting so it's nice in there. The people that work there are very nice too. I've been trying to apply there for like 2 years lol. It's just a really great place I love it a lot. The shrimp ajo(garlic~not spicy) is also very good! Another thing is their salsa is very very good and it's not spicy at all. I really wish that since they give it to you for free as an appetizer that it was also free to go 🥺

Edit: Since I do always order to go I am re-reviewing this and changing my rating from a five to a four until they use different takeout boxes or at the very least wait until the food has cooled down just a bit. It's been twice now that my food falls through the bottom of the takeout box, and down to the bottom of the plastic bag, because it's so hot that it eats into the styrofoam. It also makes the meal dryer due to the lack of Alfredo and it's super annoying and terribly messy. If that ever stops happening I will change my review back to five stars. P.S. I also don't know how dangerous it is to eat remnants of melted styrofoam? But either way it doesn't take away from the deliciousness of the meal.

ANOTHER edit: i called again to place another order and just told them the issue with the styrofoam melting and they very kindly put aluminum foil at the bottom. Every special request was met! 5...

A local spot that is worth going to! It is not easy to see from The 27, but use your navigation and it will bring you to a wonderful restaurant. There is plenty of parking. The staff was welcoming and was walked to a table. Shortly after sitting, tortilla chips and a nice salasa were brought to the table (without asking, yea). The tortilla chips were fresh and tasty on their own. The salsa was nice and different, tasty as well and not spicy. The décor of the restaurant is wonderful. There is Mexican banda music playing, loud enough to hear but not overwhelm. The menu is extensive, there is something for everyone. I had steak fajitas and it was delicious. The steak was marinated and cooked to perfection. I could bite a piece and it was not chewy, just right. Plenty of onions and bell peppers. The portions are just right. Enough to fill you up, but not so much that its like how am I going to finish this? The refried beans were smooth, the guacamole flavorful and the yellow rice fresh and fluffy. There is quite a bit seating available as well as a bar. The margaritas were smooth and recommend. There are two large TVs so a good place to watch the games. During the meal, the server checked in on us, so very nice service. I recommend going if craving fajitas in a quiet, yet just enough liveliness atmosphere where the servers will not ignore you. A pleasant experience, tasty food, smooth drinks and would...
