Last night we decided to try out a bar in our new neighborhood (HALES CORNERS) We stopped at ANNIES PLACE! When we walked in we where the only black people there which did not bother us because we dont SEE COLOR! We just see faces. Unfortunately we were met with angry frowns and glares. As soon as we stepped to the bar a customer says to the bartender you just let anybody in here and leaves! We ignored that! We ordered drinks and again were met with glares whispers and an all around uncomfortable environment. It became so awkward that at one point a lady came over and said dont worry about the color of your skin some people dont understand. Which only clarified what was actually going on there.
