First off let me say, I’m an industry worker. I bartend. So most times I take what people say with a grain of salt. And I find this quite boring to have to rate establishments. HOWEVER LISTEN TO THIS!!! My wife and I came here because we thought it was a gem undiscovered in this neighborhood, to our surprise the old lady our server was super rude, with a chip on her shoulder every time she came around us. When we asked for the check, my wife paid the tab and I asked her what the total was, to my surprise and for the few items we ordered she said it was $80 to which shocked me because I had done some rough math about how much the total would’ve been and I was ball-parking it at $55 bucks which would’ve made sense except for one little detail. They had a random $30 dollar charge on our tab. When I asked them about it, they said it was the charge for the michelada. To which I said, it says on the menu it’s $13 not $30. A random man from the back came by and said “sorry we can’t refund you because our boss will be mad, what we can do is charge you again for the original price and you can take it up to your credit card and dispute the other charge” 😳 this is by no means me telling you not to go there, if you wanna waste your time and get stiffed by all means go there. Other than the food being less than mediocre at best and the horrible service, there’s no need to go back, or go...
Read moreI used to like this place and I believe their food tastes good, but the last few times I were there I noticed something that gross me out, and what I’ve noticed is that the cooks sometime are dealing with cash and then they go back to cooking without washing their hands and as you know when making tacos you have to come in direct contact with tortillas and ingredients like cheese lettuce etc. The other day there was a guy that was at the register and he preceded to make me some quesadillas with bare hands, I notice him pouring the cheese with his bare hands plus he also had a bunch of bite marks that looked like mosquitos bites all over his hand. That was the last straw for me I will never ever be going back to that place. If they were smart and professional they would make sure the cooks have nothing to do with the register or wair...
Read moreWow…..I started going to this small taqueria years ago and I just came back twice in the last week. The enchiladas are some of the best I’ve had anywhere. This place is very authentic Mexican food,,, not Tex-Mex. The two women working there speak Spanish only, be prepared to speak some Spanish for some real Mexican food. I asked and they make their own tortillas. The red hot sauce is truly hot. They are using cojita, which is a traditional Mexican cheese. It’s tangy and has an amazing zest. I had enchiladas with steak with the red chili sauce…. Absolutely amazing. They have a couple of tables outside. The inside is funky with sombreros and Mexican cha-cha all over the walls. There is a TV with Mexican Novella playing or news…. People are friendly and if you’re looking for something authentic and unique, you might give...
