Waffle House — Restaurant in Halls Crossroads

No customer service at all in this place from the Manager to the staff. They was busy ok placed a to go order over the phone said would be ready in 15 mins but was not for 30. Then when I get the order it was missing an item called them to let them know so they can fix it and the lady that picked up was so rude and even hung up on me cause she was mad I called back about the order being wrong. At this point I just want a refund so I drove back with the food to get said refund and to speak with the manager and she was even worse then the person that answered the phone. Would bot even speak to me at 1st told the server she didn't have time to speak with me nor was she concerned about my issues. Found out that her manager was on the grill as well when I asked to speak with him then she came over to address me and my issues but at this point I want to speak with higher ups as I do not think the people that was there...

Service was fine. Very friendly lady. The cook sucked !! I over heard him being rude with an employee. It doesn't take culinary school to work at Waffle House but this guy couldn't scramble an egg. Me and my mother both ordered scrambled ... one order with cheese and they came out with big chunks of whites and the yellow wasn't even done either. Never even saw the cheese in mine...but it wouldn't have made them any better seeing as though they weren't done. The toast was so cold that it didn't even begin to melt the small pat of butter he applied. The waitress asked to redo my eggs ...she saw I wasn't eating them not pleased with the look of them. I declined ...asking was the cook the manager....she replied yes... As a manager.....he should know better than to present or serve food in the manner he did. It was awful and I'll not likely be back to...

A total party of three came in, we sat down and a lady got us drinks, that's where the good part of the experience ends. We were told who our waitress was but she "Holly" stood by the waffle iron texting, I guess her thot friends, if she could even have friends with her lack of attention span. We wait their while she was texting and sort of attending to one table "that looked miserable" for at least twenty minutes and not even being greeted or spoke to. That's when we got up and left, as we walked out no one said a word to us, they just stood there staring at us with a blank look on their face. We then drove to the merchants drive Knoxville,Tn location and received great service, so in my honest opinion the halls location needs work to say the least. Never ever come here, you will be better off sitting at home waiting on your living room wall to...
