Goodwill Industries-Knoxville Inc. — Local services in Halls Crossroads

Disappointed in this store. I shop your local stores about 300 days out of the year. Mostly Hall’s, but this one has taken a downward spiral. Kevin was a great manager, as was Tina before him. Last Monday I was told I had to wear a mask. It was 100 degrees in there, smelled like a broken sewer, barrels and totes in the middle of the store collecting water from the AC (been there for months) & wet blankets on one side wall that another customer told me he put down days before to sop up a leak from who knows what. I expressed that I had difficulty wearing a mask in there. The employee Penny told me she would have to call the police. I told her to do so but informed her that an un-elected board did not have authority to pass laws, therefore we do not have a mask “law.” She said your main office required her to call the police. I keep a good distance from everyone. I find what I like and pay. I have been a very civil, regular shopper supporting this store for years. I have endured some bad employees in that time along with some good. You will have to do much better than threatening to call the police on me, as well as clean up the mess,...

Ridiculous!...their eprices have gotten outragous and they no longer have senior disounts. I picked up a bottle of lotion that was half used and it was priced at $2....I BUY THE SAME EXACT LOTION AT DOLLAR TREE FOR $1 and its brand new. I had $5 for a pair of work pants so I went to karm. I found khaki jordash pants just like the ones at walmart right now. At walmart they are $9.89...Karm was still asking $6.99, so I walked up to the store manager amd asked if she would take $5 for them. She literally screamed so loud, "NOPE, SORRY". I got a little upset but kept shopping with my mother. She found an empty mason jar with a blue ribbon on the top and she thought it would be nice for her grand daughter to use as a makeup brush holder. As we turned it over to see the price we see $3. On an empty mason jar????? After leaving I begin thinking how last year I was completely homeless with no one to help me and before i lost my home called Goodwill, Karm, and Salvation Army and NONE OF THEM WOULD HELP ME OR MY KIDS! I realized it's all a scam and from now on everything i no longer want will go to the hopehouse...

TRASH TRASH TRASH!! This place needs to be shut down! So, there was NO organization when it comes to sorting clothes. There were leggings, with holes in them, listed for $9.99. Who runs this place?! What happened to the “A” team ?!? This place was gross and I will ever come back!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY STOPPING HERE!! Junk, junk, junk!! Y’all should be embarrassed!!! I worked here for a short time, almost five years ago and y’all had a boutique looking store when I was done with the place! I made beautiful displays!! THIS PLACE IS A GARBAGE DUMP!!

What a DUMP!! One of the dirtiest, nastiest stores I’ve ever been in. I worked here some years ago. Always had the place looking nice! This time I took my family, who are visiting, from out of state. How embarrassing for Goodwill! Selection was poor, because they send all the good donations to “ Corporate” to pay for their high dollar salaries! There were no displays up, just nasty dirt and clothes on the floor. Unorganized. Looked like a big junk store!! Wish I could give...
