I’m a regular customer to this place for almost 7 years used to ate here every week, but after I moved to live far away this year I didn’t go often anymore. Today I’m in the area feel craving for the noodle with wontons soup but I have only $40 cash just have enough to pay the food for 3 people but not enough for tips and I don’t want to be mean to give the server only $2 tips because our food price is $37 something. My husband said last time the guy allowed him to order online for dining in.
So we get in and sit at the table then sever came for order, I said I don’t have enough cash can I order online? and she said ok. But few minutes later I ordered and paid she came back to tell me they’re not allowed to order and pay online for dine in. The reason is they’re not make enough profit for online order! Because the application cut them many percent! 🤔
Well, I didn’t judge it’s right or wrong but it doesn’t make sense for me, the online order to take out you need to pay cost for containers, plastic bags and etc. but dining in doesn’t!
I work at the restaurant as well and we’re welcome online order customer to dining in even no tips. I tipped them 18% but they’re not welcome me 😅😅 I never seen those 2 lady anyway they’re might new. I always see the guy with glasses and the long hair guy they are nice.
I give 5 stars for food but 2 stars to the service. So make sure you have cash to be there 😁 at least...
Read moregood choice for decent chinese food. Had my usual, wonton noodles and a selection from the chinese bbq. Noodles were a little undercooked, had to leave in soup for 2-3 minutes before it was just the right tenderness. I wonder if the chef expects the customer not to get the dish so quickly and dials in the wait time so that it gets there just right.. Nah.. that's just too precise for a mom and pop place. Pan fried dumplings were so so, probably skip the next time
2nd/3rd/4th/5th/9th? time: Lost count :-) been there so often lately. But wanted to add that the foodie gods were smiling because the duck we ordered came fresh out of the roaster and the thing was steaming hot with crispy skin and the duck fat was just oozing off it. it was heaven. It was really busy at 1pm today. I got seated at the front since I wasnt particular about my table. Food was spot on as usual. Wait staff was all by himself but he handled the rush like a champ. 100th time???? Hey they have new menus. Yay no more those nasty sticky overused menus. I think the choices may have been reduced but it's all relative given the huge selection they had...
Read moreI found this old Chinese restaurant my co-worker swore by, and from outside, it didn’t look like inside! But let me tell you, it was like finding a diamond in the rough!
Inside decoration is very clean well organized.
Roasted duck: Duck is a little fatty under the duck skin (personal preference). But I think it was great! Very aromatic, tender, sweet and savory.
Roasted pork: Ahhh, pork is my favorite meat already so I am bias. But it was sweet, tender, juicy, I want it again now!
Stir fry Morning Glory (water Spanish): I know it is a simple dish, but I also know that to make a simple dish excellent is challenging, they nailed it!
Good price, great (huge) potion!
Service: I think they are family business, so the wait staff must be family members or friends. Really welcoming, really nice!
Please Prepare just one thing that they...
