Phở Thiên Ý — Restaurant in Haltom City

Been several years since I came back to this place and i couldn't really remember anything about it. So i decided it was time for a return. I had the combination pho large size and they definitely give you your money's worth. The broth was similar to other pho shops in that area but housin and Sriracha usually makes it great anyway. Lots of meat and lots of noodles. On top of that they actually have the smoothie that's hard to find in that area. In terms of getting your money worth I compare it to Mylans pho without the massive traffic and noise. I believe this place will be my top choice if I just want pho alone due to less traffic and noise and having the smoothie I want all in one place.

26 March 2023: who ever made the pho broth this morning did a fantastic job. As usual even for a small bowl they are not stingy with noodles and meats.

Edit July 2023. Until the Sriracha shortage is fixed I won't go to another restaurant that supposedly serves the real sriratcha until it's has the authentic one. I call it like it is and I know a fake Sriracha versus imitation Sriracha. This place is already hit and miss with the pho broth but add imitation Sriracha and it becomes 3 outta 5 star. Only reason I didn't give 2 stars is cause they still give you big portions.

edit: jan 2024. real sriracha is back. the broth was very good today. as always they fill your bowl up no matter the size. 5...

The food was fantastic and all good, every weekend I always go eat there. I need to drive 20 minutes to eat there, but I am fine with that.

But today I am so disappointed with the services i got from the guy at the server.

Me and my family just take a dinner right there, take the order from the young lady with good English everything is good as usual and she just help very good.

So the lady is changing her shift with the guy, now the problem is begin when I asking need to Pay and he said $47 dollar and i give my card right the way and I saw the order they just give it to me. So i just check and OK with payment ( the card with him already) and he told me wait he gonna call and check with the lady and I am waiting.

And after that he said to me “ how much you want to pay ?? “ i said to him you’re so rude and in-polite to ask me how much i want to pay I said my card with you.

And i talk with the lady I am ok with the payment and not complaining anything and my card with him. I am just wait my payment

But the Man Server make a rude with asking me “ how much i want to pay ?? “

What the point good food without basic service ? I ask the basic service not the good one.

So this my last time...

A low key hole in the wall hidden gem. The dishes taste like a grandma in the back made it.

Spring rolls. Thick spring rolls with yummy generous thick peanut sauce. Yum!

Combination pho! This has generous portions. This pho needed a little salt but the meats are for those not afraid to have a little cartilage with their meatballs. If you're serious about pho this the pho.

!409. Bbq pork with a fried egg on a bed of rice. It's good rice dish that is savory and sweet. You won't regret this one.

Assorted meat Banh mi. Generous portions on the sandwich. It alone can fill a person. I loved that they used pate and mayonnaise on their sandwiches. It's a good appetizer.

Vermicelli with pork skins and egg rolls. Smother the bowl in that fish sauce because it elevates the dish. The fresh greens and mint give it a nice cool refreshing feeling.

Fyi. Seat yourself. Mind you the staff is not the most attentive but a simple request would not...
