Hecky's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Hamburg

Drove 30 minutes out for food.

They forgot the sauce, Forgetting anything is fine- i get it, in a pandemic and we're short staffed. what i DONT appreciate is granny behind the counter telling me to go fetch my bag because "i don't know how to look properly" for my sauce that she refused to give me for a solid 3 minutes.

Don't appreciate getting yelled at for kindly asking how to aquire things i paid for, don't appreciate the human brick in a hairnet not showing any concern for grandma having a disgusting attitude, before telling me to leave.

Only person i can thank and apologize to is the young lady working the counter, Maybe the staff there can learn a thing or two about proper customer service.

I'm glad this happened on my day off because it gives me time to let my co-workers know to quit ordering from here throughout the week. The food isn't worth the service.

I got a hoagie and it was so soggy that I could not eat it without it falling about. The bread was so wet. I called to let them know about it and they told me it was my fault because I ordered wet extras on my hoagie. I have ordered this same hoagie many times before with no problem. I was talking to the person who made the hoagie and he just insisted he made a perfectly fine hoagie, superlative, even though I told him I had pictures showing otherwise. He told me my pictures meant nothing. I assumed he thought I did something to the hoagie before I took the pictures. Really. I have never been talked to as a customer the way that person talked to me. I was an insurance agent and in customer service for over 35 years and would never talk to a customer like that. I never asked for a refund of any kind, I just wanted to let them know it was not the kind of hoagie I am used to receiving there. Nothing...

I did not know where to even start. Woman in a yellow (tangerine) colored shirt is super rude. I had a question and she dismissed me. Waited over 1 hour from food order on line. My 1 star is for the wonderful lady in black. She noticed we were standing for a while and asked how can we help you. I explained and she said my order has been sitting on the counter for sometime now. Got my order and left......back at work the order was incomplete. When I called I got the 1st woman answered, no apologizes just "Its here do you want it or do you want credit. I had another person pick it up that woman never apologized to her either. Lady in black behind the counter you were wonderful!!!!!!!!
