Hamden Town House — Restaurant in Hamden

It's my new favorite place. The service is great the waitresses and waiters are excellent. Great Bang for the buck. Every single time I go there if I'm not happy with something they fix it if I'm happy with something they are even happier today I was very happy with my breakfast and I ordered an Italian wedding soup to go. Got up to the counter and reminded them that I had soup to go, and he said no that's on us. Thank you very much. I'm nobody special. Nobody knows that I review restaurants, and I'm sure of that, so the manager just did that to be nice. Now I'm fully aware that not far from Hamden townhouse is a place Where everyone goes in town And we'll literally sit and wait if there's a wait time Just to eat breakfast at this particular place Not saying it isn't deserved Yeah but I'm saying that Hamden townhouse Is just as good and for some things even better I highly recommend reader that you give this place a try. Would honestly give -100 stars if I could, extremely disappointed in the way I was treated as a customer. Ordered through Uber Eats and when I opened my sandwich there were multiple little white hairs sticking out of it. I understand things happen from time to time, so I called the restaurant to rectify the situation and get my money back when the woman I spoke with literally said "well our cook is bald so I don't know how that could have happened." um......EXCUSE ME? That's probably the WORST thing you can say to a customer who was literally served food with hair in it and is calling to explain that to you. Then they proceeded to say "well these things happen".... I get it, I DO; but I worked in food service before and know quite well that it is NEVER okay to serve food with hair in it. An apology and offer to refund my entire order should have been the first and ONLY thing they should have said to me. I am absolutely disgusted just check your food if you decide to go here I guess but I don't...

This review is based on this experience. I've been here a few times and always been satisfied with service and my food. But this particular night from the moment I stepped inside I didn't really feel welcomed. I was told I can sit anywhere which I did but I waited for over 10 minutes before the waitress came over and asked if I needed a menu and something to drink. I placed my order in which the food was delicious but the waitress not once came over to check on me. But as I sat there I noticed other families being escorted to the tables with menus. Now that I'm finished with my meal still no waitress but I see her going over to other tables and basically paid me no mind. There was even a family of 4 who arrived after me got there meal and left before me. I was alone. After about 10 minutes or so of finishing my food I got up and had to ask another girl who wasn't my waitress for my check. I was just not in a good mood when...
