7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Hammond

The best part of my experience there was the guy that took our order. He was very pleasant very nice. He was actually in the other lane and ran over to my lane to take my order instead of me having to wait however when we finally get to where they give us our order, they asked us if we paid and I told her yes they asked us what we ordered and what we ordered was sitting right there in the heat melting as she searched for the proof of our order and that we paid because the guy that took my order he was no longer There or he was somewhere where they couldn’t find him the music is loud and the coffee not good what I ordered should’ve came with whip cream and chocolate drizzle at least that’s what the picture showed instead it came unfrozen because it sat outside waiting for me to get it and waiting for the girl that worked there to figure out what was going on. I asked for extra whip cream Didn’t have whipped cream at all on 1 and the other one barely any neither had chocolate drizzle. It was a miserable experience chalk it up to maybe just opening however they shouldn’t be outside with your ordered drink that’s frozen sitting there waiting for you to pull up to it and then waiting to hand it to you. I don’t know if that’s an outside atmospheric place but in this state..NOOOOO.. unless you’re ordering hot drinks, don’t be in 100° heat with somebody’s frozen drink sitting there as you take your time trying to figure out what’s going on. Stopped by today around noon for an SF vanilla iced latte. Lady walks up, doesn’t make eye contact, doesn’t say hello or anything, just says “phone number”, “order”. Asked the lady in the second (outside) bay for a SF vanilla iced latte with oat milk and also asked if she could make sure it was sweet because it’s never consistent. Sometimes it’s sweet, sometimes it’s not AT ALL (I explained that to her) but I wanted how it’s supposed to come, a little sweet, not overly sweetened. She looked at me, shrugged her shoulders, and stated “I’m not sure what you want me to do, do you want it extra sweet or not?” in a rude manner/attitude. I wasn’t trying to be difficult and thought I explained myself very well.

I come to this specific 7 brew VERY often. I just wanted to enjoy my little drink the way i order it and the way its supposed to be made.. I understand it’s hot outside and maybe they get frustrated working in the heat, BUT it’s pretty crazy to me how INCONSISTENT the drink quality and customer service is. Please do better. If you don’t want to be harassed by the employees, DON’T go here! I was on vacation traveling with my daughter. She stopped here through the drive- thru to get a coffee. I got out the car to smoke before we headed to our destination. I went around to the other side of the building. A black male employee said, “ Excuse me Ma’am, do you need something?” I said “ No, My daughter just bought a coffee here.” So, he went back inside. Then, a min or 2 later, he came out again and said, “ Excuse me Ma’am, you can’t smoke here.” It was outside and there was not any “ No smoking signs” I told him that my daughter just bought a coffee here and she is in the car and she has asthma, so I can’t smoke in the car. He said “Just because you bought coffee here, doesn’t mean you can smoke here.” I also forgot to mention that when he came out the 2nd time, he came out with his Posse. ( His 2 or 3 other female coworkers. And they were giggling the whole time. I never felt so disrespected for no reason in my life!
