We've been here a few years ago and enjoyed it better then. I think we just came on the wrong afternoon this time. The place is more fun when it is lively. The service was fine, nothing overly special. No problems, the server was quick, and attentive but flat. I don't think she smiled once. She may have been having a bad day, but it didn't seem like that. She didn't seem tired either, just simply bored. Not that I require bubbly customer service, but even just a hint of an attempt at a smile would have helped. The food was slightly burnt, not burnt to the point of inedible, but just past charred and just before it fully hits the smelling burnt stage. My wife's salad was wilted, and came out less than ten seconds after we ordered it. Long delays for salad aren't good either, but that quick and wilted is a bit odd. My son's grilled cheese sandwich was nothing special, slightly burnt on one side and reasonably melted. I still give it a 4, given that we have had great service and fantastic food in the past. If we go back soon and the food/service stays the same I'll downgrade to a 3, but it definitely isn't a 2 or a 1. It didn't make us sick, or nauseous, or even queasy, but there was a wow factor missing that used to be there. My bacon sandwich was fine, a little chewy for the hamburger, but probably because it also had a bit too much char...
Read moreI’m so disappointed in Brady’s! It used to be awesome for food & atmosphere, but the last time we went, the service was awful (slow & not friendly) and the food was mediocre. We decided to give them another chance and ordered takeout. The steak for the fajitas was black like it was reheated too long multiple times, and it was tough as shoe leather. The baked potato my daughter ordered was small ($3.50) and brown & gritty inside. It seriously looked like it was first baked 3 days ago, refrigerated, reheated in the microwave, and tasted like it. The “seafood platter” had only a couple of pieces of catfish & a few shrimp -no oysters as advertised-and the shrimp were over cooked. Is there not a chef on the weekends? Who lets stuff like this get sent out? It’s not like they were super busy, as there were only 3 tables occupied inside & out, including the bar. There couldn’t have been more than 10 people in the whole place. Now I guess I know why. I know they used to have much higher standards, even for their takeout, because we’ve had it many times over the years. Brady’s used to be our go-to for family dinners out We have been patrons for over 30 years and I’m so sorry to say I cannot recommend them anymore. That really...
Read moreHorrible experience tonight. First, I called beforehand to see what the wait looked like. The guy told me “uhh if you come now we can probably squeeze you in.” We were outside of the building at that time so we just walked in and looked around for someone who worked there to help us. A random guy that doesn’t work there told us to seat ourselves... there were no seats. And no one was helping us. We finally find a party that is leaving and we go to claim our spot. After the waitress finished cleaning the table, she let a family in the booth that had not been waiting as long as my husband and me. We continue aimlessly walking around the restaurant for an empty table (still not acknowledged by the staff) and we find an empty, dirty table in the corner. We seat ourselves and after at least 10 mins, a waitress comes up to us and tells us we have to leave the table because it is reserved. There is no “reserved” sign in sight and if you are going to be picky with where we sit, HAVE STAFF AT THE FRONT DIRECTING TABLE PLACEMENT!!! they made no effort to make this right or make sure we had a table soon, just said “sorry.” Lesson learned, I’ll eat gas station pork loin before I ever come...
