My friend and I were so excited to try this place. We have heard such phenomenal things about this place, but unfortunately our experience is a 0/10 for me! When we got there we were so confused about why prices were not listed on the menu. Turns out, it’s $21.99 all you can eat (which is a great deal) however our server should’ve informed us prior to us having to ask her. We started with the pepper tuna appetizer, it was amazing! Than we went ahead and order the steak hibachi, the steak was so chewy and it was one of the poorest quality meats I have personally ever consumed. We sent it back and I am not usually one to complain or send stuff back, but it was foul. Sushi is our thing, anytime we go out we get the sweetheart roll but it was called the king roll here. There’s fried shrimp in our roll, well as you can see there’s no shrimp inside the roll. When I than finally flagged our sever down to inform her of this her response was “when they fry the shrimp the shrimp falls out of the breading” I honestly was appalled because never in my SIX YEARS of ordering this roll has that EVER happened anywhere. We just ordered more pepper tuna at this point we knew we were safe with that since everything else we had consumed so far had been awful. It took about 25 minutes still nothing at that point we had been there for TWO HOURS.. we just asked to speak to a manger at that point because our server was unprofessional, rude, and incompetent. The manager came over they discounted our bill and the server said to my friend “you don’t need to tip me” so unprofessional on her behalf. We informed her of how beyond rude she was and she had the audacity to laugh and then when we she put the dishes in the bus tub when were leaving she slammed them in there. I just can’t believe people act like that! We have two kids each and this was suppose to be our “moms night out” and it was just an all around...
Read moreFrom the start, the hostess was dismissive and rude, setting a negative tone before we even sat down. Our server was hardly present—multiple tables, including ours, were left waiting and visibly frustrated. It took nearly 15 minutes just to receive two sodas, and when my husband asked for a refill several times, the waiter eventually returned only to say the syrup was out and started to walk away. I had to call after him just so my husband could get another drink with his meal.
When it came time to leave, we waited another 10–15 minutes after receiving the check with no sign of our server. We asked another waitress for help, but she explained she couldn’t close out our table and told us to pay up front. At the counter, the hostess flat-out told me, “I’m not doing that. We don’t do it here. Find your waiter,” while I stood there holding the check and cash. After explaining we were in a hurry—because our meal had already taken much longer than expected—she snatched the check from me, yelled for the waiter, and then looked at me and said, “There you go.” When I told her she was being rude, she snapped, “I’m not checking you out.”
I went to ask for a manager, but another waitress simply told me there wasn’t one available. As I walked out, the hostess made an unprovoked, obscene comment about my weight. For an all-you-can-eat restaurant—or any restaurant, for that matter—making personal remarks about a customer’s appearance is beyond unprofessional. It is cruel.
To be fair, the hibachi was good, but the sushi all tasted the same and was disappointing. Regardless, the food cannot make up for service that was not only inattentive but openly insulting. I will never return, and I strongly caution others about...
Read moreWhat can I say about this place other than the fact that if you love sushi you have to go here. I have been to several Chinese buffets and got their sushi which is good but then when you go to a Japanese style restaurant, you order a roll or two of sushi you find that the buffet option isn't as good as when the more professional style restaurants do it. So what do you do? You spend a large amount of money to have a decent amount of sushi but not a large amount of sushi. Enter sushi heaven and it took the best of both worlds and put them together. When you go inside, the waitress comes around with a tablet. There's over 80 different options on a menu. Most of it is sushi but there is also some American style stuff like french fries, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, or you can step more into a Chinese style stuff such as noodles, egg rolls, things of that nature, but regardless of what you order, the young lady stands there and take your order until you say I think that's enough within minutes. Somebody's already coming around to your table with your stuff and they will load you up with so much food that for the first time ever. I actually got full on just sushi. Nothing else now. There was a crab rangoon or so that I had but mostly just sushi and they keep coming back and asking you if you want more. It was the best sushi experience I have ever had. Everything was so delicious. It was fresh and honestly it costs a little bit at 22.99 a person for adults but you pay one flat rate and after that you can order as much as you want. Drinks included as well as dessert at no extra cost and it's BYOB. This was by far the best place I've ever had. Sushi and I absolutely plan on going back there as soon as my pants...
