Blink's Fry Doe — Restaurant in Hampton

Fried dough is my favorite summertime food and I have eaten it in every state I've ever visited. Blinks fry dough in Hampton beach is by far the absolute best I have ever eaten. it was the most perfectly executed recipie of this delicious treat I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. A delightful crisp outer shell with a soft sweet and chewy center. I am a purist and prefer just powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar but Blinks offers a huge variety of toppings and I've been delighted with each one ( except the chocolate, but in all fairness I don't really care for chocolate.) I would recomend trying, in addition to powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar, the Apple cinnamon, the buttery and sugar, the honey and walnut, the turtle, and the cheese one if you want a savory one. I don't know of I'd call it luck or a curse but when we moved to New Hampshire I was less than 20 minutes from this little piece of heaven on earth!! This is the first place I go to when I get to Hampton Beach. I believe they have been at Hampton Beach longer than any other business. There are two of them on the Strip. They stay open till 1 in the morning. When I came home last year I tried to copy blinky's recipe and make my own fried dough I don't know what it is or what they do to it but I couldn't do it it just doesn't taste the same. I absolutely love blinky's it's the first place I go to and the last place I go to when I go on vacation. My vacation just wouldn't be the same without blinky's.
