I have been eating cristy's pizza since 1970. Tonight it was the worst. We were served by a rude non gentle person who seemed angry because we asked for pizza. I guess he is in the wrong profession. Needless to say we felt like we were bothering him for our 4 extra cheese slices. Then once we got our pizza it tasted like cardbosrd. Too bad, i always liked Cristy and the wife had always loved Tripoli. The people at 286 at tripoli's are usually rude and one waits an incredibly long time to be served and i hate going there. Now it seems one gets the same rude treatment at Cristy's and now awful pizza to top it off. I guess i will going to tripolis to experience the rude service but better beach pizza. What a shame, cristy's and tripoli's used to have a great delicious rivalry going on in Salisbury beach. Side by side, pizza against pizza. Now it seems to be who can have the rudest employees, the slowest service and the worst beach pizza. Keep it up, we will continue to be patrons, because it is comfort food, but without a doubt less often and less...
Read moreWanted to try out their pizza after hearing this place has tasty pizza and has been an established business in Hampton Beach for a long time. Although, read lines could be long in the busiest days during summer, I walked right up to their counter with no one standing in line at 5 o'clock. 2 slices of pizza took 5 mins. Pizza was good in a unique sense. It has less cheese than a regular pizza, crust tasted doughy but very crispy. Reminds me of the store bought little frozen microwavable pizzas (Celeste) you get from the supermarket, but better. I would probably go here now every year I visit Hampton. Less star for no tables to set your pizza down to eat, and filmsy paper plates that will fall off if you don't secure it tightly...

We stood in line for 20 min with temps below 10F and huge winds. I ate one slice and thought "meh"... But she was in absolute heaven.
So, don't take my word for it. If you have my taste, you may not care... But if you want local flavor... Or nostalgia... Or if you're pregnant... Or whatever... I don't know... Give it a try and decide...
