Pizza Twist — Restaurant in Hampton

Ordered a small vegan plant based pepperoni pizza when I arrived to pickup the pizza I had to open my pizza box on the way out the restaurant to discover that they had ran out of the regular vegan pepperoni. It was at that time , while I was almost out the store that the manager told me that they had ran out of plant based pepperoni and replaced it with another option that does not look like or taste like the vegan pepperoni. If you ran out of an option that’s fine, allow your customers to choose what they want to replace it with or if they would like a refund. It just seems sneaky to almost allow your customer to walk out the restaurant with what they didn’t order. I knew something was up because usually when you pick up a pizza the employee opens the box and shows it to you but this wasn’t done here. With not a lot of plant based options around here it was nice to have plant based options so close but this encounter made me lose trust...

Came in here on a friend’s recommendation not for the pizza but for the Indian street food. I had the samosas, the lamb kadai, and the mango lahsi. Hubs had butter chicken pasta (one of their fusion dishes). Great value- left full without needing a go box for both my husband and I for less than $30. Big plus: you can select your spice level from nothing to “Indian Spicy”. I went mild and he went medium to try it out. Both were very flavorful. I’ll probably do at least medium next time (and that will be soon), I just wanted to gauge it. We are also going to try their pizza soon! We ate most of our food before realizing i forgot to take some pictures. We had a great experience at Pizza Twist! The food was delicious--hot, fresh, and full of flavor. It's such a fun and tasty twist on two favorites: pizza and Indian food. The butter chicken pizza hit the spot, the gol gappe were flavorful and crispy, and the masala fries were seriously amazing. Service was quick and super friendly, too. Only downside is there's no baby changing table in the restroom, which made things a little tricky with our little one. We will definitely be back!
