Place went completely downhill once they got new management. The Baristas don't pay attention to anyone, and they mess up my order every single time. I won't be coming back to this location; it's a shame because this has been our spot for the last 4 years. My wife and I use to love the workers and the managers at this location, but now not one person at this store is personable. They wouldn't allow us to use our stars to get a free cup because they tried saying that it had to be under $20 after taxes, we called corporate to clarify, they said we should have been able to purchase it with our stars, but instead we just bought the cup. The same woman who makes my drink has made it 5 different ways the last 5 times I have been in there; this time adding ice to my Nitro Cold Brew (last time adding whip cream to the Nitro)... Every time I ask them to remake it with regular sweetcream and no ice, you would think the world was ending. They roll their eyes and get frustrated, though they made it incorrectly. I was told by a barista last time I was in there "you know I've always thought that you were an axxhole, but you're actually a pretty cool guy"! ... It has no ambiance due to the full size windows that make up 50% of the walls, letting all the natural light in - which is not a bad thing, but obliterates any semblance of privacy or intimacy. The size of the store and layout isn't optimal if you're looking for a place to read, or relax since it's cramped, has very few comfortable furniture to sit on, all the blenders are fewer than 15 feet from where you would sit. Simply put, the seating just looks like it's there because the other stores have them too.
What this store does very well on is service and making Starbucks coffee. Regardless of how you feel about Starbucks coffee, this store delivers what I perceive is the corporate expectation of what their coffee should be. The staff is courteous, fast, responsive, and have just enough pep in their step to make me feel like they're not miserable in their job.

Read moreThe worst in 13 years! I've been to many Starbucks in several states, and the customer service at the Coliseum Xing was abysmal. The girl took my order, I paid, and she walked away without saying ONE word to me. Didn't ask if I wanted a receipt (I did), didn't confirm my drink order, didn't ask for my name, and when I just stood there she mumbled something about it being ready in a minute at the other end. Then when my sister arrived, she had the same experience. Except in her case they didn't even announce her drink!! We are sitting and chatting, and I looked up and told her "I think that's your drink up there". She took it, and fortunately it did belong to her, but she could have grabbed anybody's drink!!! What if she'd had a food allergy? I hate doing this, but someone has to say something. We will go to Target...
