đBULLIED by Employeesđ
A young African American woman took our order. She had short hair, a piercing above the right side of her mouth, and extremely long fingernails. She was rude and had a horrible attitude!
My husband ordered while we were deciding. I waited until his order was entered before placing the rest of ours.
I ordered a wrap with no lettuce (allergic). I then began to order two original chicken sandwiches but was interrupted by "hold on, it's takes a long time to enter that no lettuce s--t."
When I was allowed to proceed, I ordered one original chicken sandwich meal and one sandwich only. This brought the following response, "you can't change your order, I already sent it back to the kitchen."
I apologized and ordered a medium onion ring and medium drink. Our total was a little over $34, and I gave the young woman a $50 bill. The clerk rolled her eyes and said, "Great! I hope I can change this s--t."
As my husband and I got our drinks and got everyone seated, we made the decision not to let one negative person ruin our evening.
The woman brought our food out and dropped the tray in the middle of the table. We thanked her, but she didn't respond.
As we passed out the food, we found only one chicken sandwich. I checked the receipt, and sure enough, she had only ordered one.
This was getting ridiculous, but an easy fix. I walked up to the counter to order and pay for another.
There were 4 employees that I could see, and not one of them would take my order. After nearly 15 minutes of them all glancing at me and making comments amongst themselves, I finally started back to our table.
That's when the "counter girl" smirked and said, "Did you want something?" My response was a simple, "No, thank you."
As I returned to our table, my husband said, "it's probably a good thing. All the food is cold and hard. It's better not to waste any more money."
As we ate what we could, my husband noticed that the man that had been in the drive up since we had arrived had pulled through, got out of his vehicle and was headed back to the window with his food in his hand, FUMING!
Although we didn't hear what was said, we witnessed the employees cracking jokes and laughing.
It's very unfortunate because this USED TO BE one of our favorite stops when we were in town.
Obviously, NOT ANYMORE!
The behavior we witnessed from the employees that night was appalling. Burger King should probably reconsider this franchise when it comes up for renewal if this is the best representation they...
Read moreMy youngest 20-something son got sick last night after eating his meal from the drive-through. He had been asked to pull forward, and figured that they didn't have chicken ready and were having to make it, or they used old chicken that had set too long. He waited for ten minutes before his order was brought out, took it home, ate and was sick an hour later. This is the second time he's gotten sick right after eating a BK drive-through meal. The last time was about six months ago. I have always been loyal to BK for sentimental reasons because I worked at one back east full-time for three years in the mid-80's. We had mostly decent, respectable managers, and a great crew which allowed us to run that place top-notch and have a lot of fun together doing it. Years and years later, BK was always where I took my three sons on our one-a-week shopping trip to town. Unfortunately, I have noticed that the Hannibal store has been understaffed and undertrained for a few years now. The store is often dirty with sticky floors, encrusted grime in the corners and cracks (even on equipment), and some of the workers don't appear very hygienic themselves. When you get a 'good one' (a sandwich or order of fries), the taste of BK can't be beat. I don't go often these days, though - only when the craving is really, really strong AND I'm feeling...
Read moreHavenât been inside to give a proper review on atmosphere. Foods decent. But Iâm currently waiting in line and have been for 15 minutes. Havenât even ordered. No cars have moved. We just said hello in the speaker box and the person taking orders just snapped on us saying unless your in some Big hurry youâre gonna have to wait and give us a minute. Unfortunately there is no way to exit the line we are in bc the drive thru is blocked by the dumpster wall. This has now been 20 minutes of being stuck with no way to leave. If we wanted to wait we would have gone to a sit down restaurant. This is called fast food for a reason. Do not spend your money here. Itâs overpriced and terrible service. In case management wants to know or the company wants to know weâve been here since 2:30pm itâs now 2:53pm on October 8th 2023. This is not even peak hours for lunch or supper. Check the schedules and your people working at the Hannibal Missouri location. If you canât stay staffed enough to actually call yourself fast food, then donât bother staying open. Either that or call yourself a sit down restaurant and get servers. We finally made it out of their hostage drive thru and to McDonaldâs where we just spent 1 minute ordering food and 2 minutes total getting our food. Thank goodness for WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE MCDONALDS...
