I ordered a salad and my daughter and mom ordered wraps. I ordered a water, which was brought to our table right away. The waiter told us that our food and drinks would also be brought to the table. My daughter and mom had ordered a soda and tea. We sat at a table and waited for our food. And waited. And waited. We thought maybe we heard them call our name, but there was no food ready at the side counter where you pick up dine-in orders. We waited some more since we thought maybe it was just taking a while to prep the salad. Finally, I approached one of the staff and asked about our food. They assumed the order was for pickup, and put it on a shelf to go. I asked why they did that since we were here at the table very obviously waiting for food. I was blamed for this problem because we didn't hear our name called. I said fine, but could we please get the two other drinks we ordered? I picked up our (now cold) food from the pickup shelf. Lo and behold, they gave me a wrap instead of a salad, so now I asked them to make my salad. Again the woman said she called our name and it was my fault for not hearing. I said, "surely you saw us waiting at the table, and you didn't think to check on us?" They finally brought my salad, but we still didn't have our other drinks. I had to ask for those again. I asked how they were going to make this up to us and again, we were blamed that we didn't hear them call our name. I asked to speak to the manager and then wrote down my info to receive a call about our experience.
So instead of saying, "I'm so sorry for the delay and the mistakes that we made, here's a smoothie on us", we received, "it's your fault".
This is typically my go-to spot on my drive from St Louis to Iowa, which I do often, but I won't be back after this treatment. I suggest you find another...

Update: Unfortunately I’ve had a couple negative experiences here now. I live a couple hours away, but pass through a couple times a month. Today I got a smoothie and asked for no turbinado (sugar), which was on the sticker of my cup accurately. I haven’t had a smoothie in a couple months, so it took me several minutes to realize there was definitely sugar.. I think extra actually because it was sweeter than my husbands. By that point we were too far down the road heading home to turn around and go back. I had to throw most of it out, and they’re not cheap enough to waste! And the little bit I had made me sick. So disappointing. :/
Every time I visit it’s a great experience. Food and service are both excellent!...
Read moreShelbi made my smoothie last night and when I got it there was ice chunks and when I asked her to remake it an she told I can only blend it, after she did that I got it back an it tasted like water so I asked if she could remake it an she told me no, so I walked out and told her thank you to have a wonderful night. This morning when I went in I asked if they could make that smoothie again and the manger had a complete attitude with me a said that she could make it but I have to pay again. It’s fine that I have to pay again but when I’m paying for it I would like to get what I paid for. Me and my husband are always in there for a smoothie. Just hate that I spend 20 dollars on two smoothies a they...
