Fine variety due to there being no other 7-elevens in the immediate area, and there are some snack and quick foods you can only get here like the taquitos, which are generally very good.
The gas is usually a hair cheaper than the quick check right down the road, but for some reason they cap my fuel at $50 per transaction (checked and it's not with any of my cards). This has happened all four times I've filled up here and the most recent time the attendant said there was a hard cap. If I'm really empty, that's not enough to fill up my tank with regular gas, so this is highly inconvenient. I'll just go somewhere else for gas.
One other time I went to get a random Cash 4 Life lottery ticket ($2), gave the cashier a $5 and he gave me back $2 dollars and said "This is with the multiplier." I was in a rush and didn't realize it until I got home, but I never asked for that, and it's a $1 upcharge. I could care less about the $1, but I'm not OK with cashiers sliding in an upcharge. Most people who get lottery tickets get the default non-multiplier tickets so I can't even chalk this up to an honest accident; this was an...
Read moreI was surprised to see a gas station and the prices are decent - better than the quick cheks in town. Store seemed pretty well stocked with the usual snacks you'd be looking for in a convenience store. They have interesting flavors for their Slurpees as well as the typical flavors. There was cherry, peach, Pina colada, vitamin water - blueberry hibiscus, coke, Mt dew, and green apple. They have a nice space there. Would definitely come by and check them out again and post some pictures. The cashier seemed green to retail and we struggled a bit with our transaction but the manager at this location was nice and friendly and was able to smooth it over.
Edit - gas prices have gone up unfortunately, equal or higher than some of...
Read moreStopped in this morning to pickup benadryl because my wife got stung by a wasp. 7-11 generic brand drugs were clearly marked at 3.49 vs brand named benadryl at 5.29. I brought a medium coffee and a generic med to the register and was charged 8.50. I told the cashier that he overcharged for the meds and asked him to check the aisle to confirm price. He told me that the price was not correct and that it was the same price as the name brand. I didn't feel like arguing, so I paid it since my wife needed it, but I will definitely not return.
