PS - I never give Google Reviews to any business good or bad but I just couldn’t help myself this time so here goes…
When I moved to Allentown in March 2024, I discovered Biryani Hut and the food was delicious so I kept ordering and it was my go to Indian Restaurant.
BUT the FOOD NOW is HORRIBLE especially the items like Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Sukka and Lamb Rogan Josh.
The Chicken Tikka Masala gravy was extremely watery and had no flavour. The Rogan Josh container was half-filled with oil floating on top, making it unedible and icky to eat. And with the Goat Sukka, nearly half the meat was undercooked—after trying 3–4 pieces, I couldn’t continue eating it.
(The above are separate incidents across different times I ordered from the place, all in the last 2-3 months as I wanted to keep giving them another chance but now I AM DONE)
The only decent item they have are the Tandoori Chicken Momos which don’t feel like a waste of money. I also used to love their chilli chicken but it’s just not good now.
I loved this place and used to order atleast 3 times a week but not any more, it has just gone down the hill in the past few months. I would not reccomend any one to waste their money on this place, just extremely disappointed because I need to find another decent Indian restaurant in Allentown which...
Read moreBEST BEST BEST I was never really offered the opportunity to eat Indian food. I had to stay at this hotel a few weeks ago and had the opportunity. I had the butter chicken which I had always heard about and another rice dish. The food was amazing. A few weeks later I had to stay in Allentown again and stay at the same hotel near the airport and had the opportunity to eat there again. The food was equally as amazing and this time I had some really good Indian type of bread to go with it. Also, the basmati kernel rice is just amazing. It's hard to find this and they must order in special. I know when I had tried to find this before I had to order it and it's like an Indian Himalayan style long grain rice. Probably the longest grain that there is. I highly recommend that you try this place. It is now one of my new...
Read moreIf you're looking for authentic Indian food in town Biryani Hut is your spot!!! Today was my family and I’s first time at Biryani Hut and it is the best Indian food spot in town. It was a little confusing to find the restaurant at first because it is inside Days Hotel but the people at the desk helped us right away. There wasn’t anyone there because it was a middle of the day in the middle of the week but it felt special. The food didn’t take too long to come out and it had a very authentic taste!! Sai was very friendly and offered us a nostalgic kingfisher beer as well. He also offered us complimentary dessert (which was delicious!) and a discount which was lovely. They also have Bollywood nights on Thursdays which I’m excited to try. Best service and...
