I ordered my food going through their website and they contract with third parties to place orders. On the door dash option which is first as opposed to their direct store order it does not give an option to select a sauce type for Mostaccioli Alforno and it say to place order and contact store directly. I did that and the women who picked up was remarkly rude speaking over me and telling me to call grubhub. I was trying to explain that it says to call the store and there is no option to make a selection on the website and what it says (to call store) and she hung up on me! I was following website directions then trying to call the number if there are issues on the receipt email and guess what it goes directly to the store because there is no other number. I have ordered from this place a lot and it seems to repeat frequently where the service isn’t great but the food is wonderful. I understand their busy but it’s not that big of a deal to change a sauce or if not then to give a note to the manager to talk to his third party contractor to get a proper menu/proper directions on their website. VERY disappointed. I never place small orders when I go here but I think I’ll stop going there all together cause of the service. I even thought about cancelling my order but couldn’t cause the only number I had was the one to the restaurant. It sucks. I was so looking forward to this food cause it’s yummy but now tainted by poor customer service experience. When I got to the store to pick up my order this kind man was helping me and a women got involved expressing concern with my order going through their website but a third party. I explained to the manager what happened and he’s like you should have called the store we would have corrected it and I told him I did and when I tried to explain I got hung up on. Well turns out the women next to him was the one on the phone and she started saying she explained everything to me and never hung up on me (gaslighting me). Read moreHave order from CPA a good amount. It seems consistency is not their motto unfortunately. We ordered just recently and the delivery drivers sometimes get too personal on the bill, I received a credit from before and the driver as he was walking up “man someone messed up big time for them to give you such a big credit.” Why does that matter? Why did that need to be mentioned? Little over bearing, I still tip out over 15-25% at times even tho the place is 5 minutes down the street from where I live. Regardless of discounts I always get the price before discount and tip based on that.
So this order we got ribs, a pizza and fries with cheese sauce. I have asked multiple times if the cheese cause is/can be heated up. They said it’s heated. The sauce was like room temperature, not to mention not even wrapped up in foil for protection like most places do, unfortunately the lid was not secured on and when I opened the bag that had the box of ribs and fries, the cheese sauce had spilled onto the bottom of the bag. I called back and was immediately placed on hold, and they never picked back up for almost 8-10 minutes. I had already waited so I didn’t even bother. The pizza I order well done because CPA is famous for not cooking the pizza all the way, the only real issue with the pizza was the sauce, it was Glopped in the middle and the outer parts...
Read moreRead the whole review before judgment on these guys...I was leery of the reviews on grub hub about this place messing up orders and them not arriving, my instinct was to pass, but for some reason I ordered from here anyway.. needless to say 20 minutes after expected delivery, I called and they hadn't even started my order.. ugh.. I told them to cancel it... I hung up and then about 5 minutes later they called me back. I spoke with Melanie there, and she said if I still wanted the order, she'd contact grubhub and credit my order. I told her I didn't want to wait on delivery, so I went there instead. About 10 minutes after hanging up I got a text from grubhub saying they credited my order. When I arrived, they had my order ready, Melanie made a point of coming and apologizing, and she threw in a few extra items on my order.. yes it would've been better to just pay and have it go through smoothly, but we need to remember we're all in this together, and humans make mistakes.. the world would be a little better with more Melanie's in it, and she went above and beyond to make things right... I learned a lesson here to show a little patience and try to give people the opportunity to make good on their mistakes.. thanks Melanie, I hope you read this review someday.. fyi, the food was excellent, I got inferno wings and Chicago...
