First of all the website is completely misleading, it says they have a “Premium Deli”, that’s not true at all because this self-labelled bakery doesn’t even have bread to sell you. Secondly their staff was rude, when I asked about their website listed “deli sandwiches” they just snapped at me “no” like I asked if they were a Burger King or something, which on a side note, would have been a better place to wander into because at least they actually have bread. Read moreI went to this bakery because I love it. I drove all the way from Illinois to get it. It’s 1130 on a Saturday morning. They stay open till seven. I walk in. They have six donuts left for some reason. The two ladies behind the counter did not want me to interrupt their conversation when I was going to ask them, a question says it is all you have left. Are you going to make anymore? They said I was like open till 7 PM. It’s 11 o’clock in the morning they said yup no we’re not making anymore so I drove a good hour and a half to come to the bakery specially to get absolutely nothing very sad. The doughnuts are definitely top notch, but I'll stay away from the fruit pies. I've purchased the cherry and peach and both felt light on fruit and undercooked. The flavor of the cherry was great, but the peach has an orange flavor from the orange juice they add, and there is way too much gel for my taste. Also, for $22 I would expect higher quality.
