Airport View Restaurant — Restaurant in Hapeville

The Airport View Restaurant is pretty decent. It is very close to the ATL International Terminal and not too far from the ATL Domestic Terminal, right in Hapeville. They put you in the mindframe of a Piccadilly or any restaurants that have the food on buffet and they serve you with your choice of meat, vegetables, and bread. They have beverages and desserts. I typically stick to the same foods. I love their fried pork cops and salmon croquet. And sometimes I will get their meatloaf or country fried steak. They have a good variety of vegetables. And two types of bread. Macaroni and cheese is my favorite food, but I do not necessarily like theirs, which is my only complaint. Noodles are overcooked and taste is just ok. If they could perfect that macaroni and cheese I would give five stars. But overall they are pretty good. The prices are great. The staff is nice. The female cashier who I believe is one of the owners is VERY hospitable. I recommend trying The Airport View Restaurant. They have limited hours so get there between...

Cafeteria- style restaurant right across from the Delta hanger. You don't have a clear shot of the runway, but if you sit on one side of the restaurant you can see the planes taxiing and from the other side you have a better view of watching them take off. It's not as close or as fantastic of a view as I was expecting, but my 2 year old was able to see the planes and loved it so that's a win in my book. The food was all right, nothing to write home about, but if you're looking for a cheap lunch that you won't feel guilty about later, this is a great place to go. The staff was very nice and helpful-- I had my toddler and his twin siblings who are still in car seats, and I had more than one employee ask if I needed any help, and they even kept an eye on them while I got our food so I wouldn't have to juggle it all.

People's standards of quality are so low these days... This food is sub par. Nothing great about it. Hardly any flavor, presentation sucks. I order a Teriyaki And rice to go sometimes, and co-worker places my order, and they hardly put any food in the container and the food is just brown and boring and tasteless. How are folks having businesses with quality like this.. ? Jesus.. and people are just giving them 5 stars left and right. Nothing about this place deserves 5 stars. Staff is friendly, so what? It's your job to be. Maybe it's because it's Asians cooking "southern" style cooking.. Had some of their free kimchi. I love kimchi, and while this was ok, I could taste the that it was old.. so that right there tells me they don't pay attention to the dates of food.. or just don't care.. Just want to sell if before making more. ICK. Never...
