This store definitely needs to be re-evaluted. The owner needs to be present in this location if you are going to have your GM work in the location all day with no help, when there is staff to call in. I've worked for 3 different locations that have successful numbers even with an owner that was a drunk and one that had checks bounce. Using the excuse of this store being a franchise just really puts the shame on this company. That means the owner doesn't take the time to update it's website, Google, yelp, door dash and other platforms with updated closing times, updates on when you don't have a delivery driver, or when you are out of an item. It's easy to text privately but actually showing up to your store and correcting the problem is loads of work for someone that is that busy. Marco's needs to really look at who they allow to franchise when dough is being prepped and used in a hour. You guests can get sick like that without proper proofing. Check my background. Canton , Woodstock and Roswell stores ran successful with under 5% labor and over $4000 sales with over 5 employees at a time. The phone not being answered under 3 rings and a daily pizza test to make sure your dough is properly temp. and has been proofed are the first steps . Then actually train your staff to weigh the ingredients. They shouldn't need to look at a video and get approved that way. You have approved people saucing pizzas with sauce in one hand and while holding the pizza in the other. Hands down this store is a joke. The same day this review posted I walked out. There are guests that congratulated me in the parking lot for standing up to the b.s Check your cameras. May God step in this restaurant and something change before the new year! You have a couple of soldiers but they are are almost done...
Read moreI called to try to place an order, I was on the phone for atleast 30 minutes, still on the phone while I was driving there. Even when I got there, I was still on hold so when I got to the counter, I asked the lady who claimed to be the manager, are they not accepting orders over the phone… she told me yes but since she had 2 call outs, she haven’t been able to answer.. no problem, I ordered my food which was 1 cheese and 1 pepperoni and 15 piece buffalo wings at 8:28p, since it was cold outside, I decided to sit in the dining area to wait for my food.. She told me that it’ll be 15-20 minutes.. Also, nobody was there except her grand children… They got their food and left, atleast 5-6 people came in and got their orders and I kept asking when will my food be done, she kept saying, ‘she got me, it’s coming out now’.. after waiting for 55 minutes I called another Marcos pizza to see if I get someone to take my order there, they immediately answered! At that point, I was so upset that I didn’t go there first. While I’m on the phone with the other location, I’m walking towards the counter, waiting in line again, about to ask for a refund, this is she says it’s ready smh me and my children were tired of waiting so I just took the food, looked at it and left.. The pizza didn’t have any sauce, the crust was dry, I couldn’t even enjoy it. The only thing that didn’t taste bad were the wings!! I got the food at 9:40p no receipt of the order or nothing! I wanted to dispute this with the company but it already late!! Atlanta’s customer service is terrible, seems like nobody wants to work or give good service unless you’re a celebrity. I hate Atlanta! I spent damn near $50 for this and this is what I get!! I...
Read moreI'm here right now. I ordered on postmates, they confirmed my order and told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. I got here and was treated with a tall gentleman ignoring me, and no immediate cashier. When I finally got service, I was told it was being prepared and would be another 15 minutes. Another guest is here now. She was waiting an hour for her food before I came in, and she was just told it'd be another fifteen minutes, as well.
An elderly gentleman came in and was greeted immediately. He got his food before we got ours. The lady who was here before, she seems to be using postmates like me so it may be their system, but I don't know. I don't think the old man ordered using a service.
My fifteen minutes past the confirmation time are almost up. I've yet to get my pizza, or any update past that initial wait time. Service is bad, there seems to be bias. Whether that's explicit prejudice or the result of technical issues, I can't confirm. On top of that, bad health code practices, the cashier doesn't wear a mask, and she's the one dealing with money! There is also another young lady preparing food, with her mask on her chin.
I just got my order, and I'm finishing up the review in the parking lot. If postmates wasn't going to charge me for the cancellation I would have gone through with it. Take the pandemic more seriously. Respect your guests' time, regardless of skin color or gender. To the ladies running the restaurant today, you can still exhibit negative prejudices towards a group, even if you identify as one...
