Hops n Drops — Restaurant in Happy Valley

Very disappointing as this is our local place that we have been going to numerous times per week for years. The service and food were way better 3-4-5 years ago and over the last 3 years have just gone downhill. We don't recognize any servers anymore, which means they are all moving on, not sure what you need to retain good servers but the turnover is not bringing in the best. Our biggest complaint is the service, last week we waited over 10 minutes to even see our server, or anyone to say hi to us, we ordered all our drinks and food. someone else brought us our drinks about 5 minutes later, food came about 20 minutes after that by a runner. drinks were empty when we got our food, no one asked or ever came by till we were done eating, that is when she offered refills, LOL. got the check and left. We are looking for other places as this place is getting worse each time we go and we are about done giving chances.

11-8-23- The general manager actually responded back and he assures me that the restaurant is in a transition period with new management and things should be getting better soon. We will give it a couple weeks and try again and hopefully our favorite restaurant is...

Take out review: star rating 0. Ordered take out tonight. Terrible experience. Phoned in my order and was told 10-15 minutes. Arrived and called to let them know I was there. Told me it would be a couple minutes. About 5 minutes later, an employee came out and told me someone took my bag so he put the order in again and it would be out in about 10 minutes. Waited for 15 and went inside to check. Girls at the front counter couldn't find my order in the system. One of them went back to have the first employee that came out to my car to come check but he was too busy so 1 girl asked the other if she should go get the manager and she said yes so she walked back and the manager said she was too busy just enter it again. 50 minutes later I finally got my 3 items which were a sandwich with salad, taquitas and Mac and cheese. Wasn't offered a discount or a beverage or anything for their screw-up and my time. Very disappointing experience.

Went there with some friends we were seated and told she would be back with menus. Waited 30 mins (mind you it wasn’t busy) and she came back and ask what we want, it started out as good fun we joked and said menus and then she got an attitude when one of my friends decide to just go up and ask and so when the waitress came back we already had some we made a joke like “oh! Beat you to it” and she rolled her eyes said something under breathe. We didn’t know she would take it so personally and she sent her manager over to us to let us know we were being switched servers. We felt so awkward and my friend wanted to apologize so he went over to her and things got so dramatic. Overall the situation was handed poorly. They have little customer service, this is not the first time this server had made my experience there awful. Normally I’d let it go but when it’s this consitent it’s definitely became one of my least favorite places, which sucks Because I do have a few favorites...
