Buster's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Harlem Township

My mother and I met my sister in law and niece for supper last sunday, March 3rd, as this was a pretty close halfway mark between Watertown Wisconsin and Bartlette Illinois. I had a bit of a chuckle when I first walked in the door because I felt like I was walking into one of the stops on a motorcycle "run." My mother, sister in law and niece are not bike riding enthusiasts. I have to say everyone was very happy with the food, and we are planning to do this again! Maybe some of our other relatives will meet us there also!

My mother has dementia so I had sent your link to my sister to go over the menu options with my mother while I was getting ready for our little trip down for supper. They decided that a plain chicken sandwich with no bun and crispy fries with a root beer would be the way to go. Welp, that changed after we got there and my sister in law suggested chicken strips. When I ordered my BCB with tater tots, I ordered an extra plain breast, on the side, just in case the strips backfired and my mother didn't like them. This happens frequently, so it's better to pay for a second option and be safe and that she will not be hungry later. Thank you for being so professional and not asking any questions. We ended up asking for a plain bun for it later to take it home to a nephew who was not able to join us. He's kinda like "Mikey" that way, eats what we don't.

The waitress, Tiffany, was outstanding! She took our tables order verbally, without a notepad. Didn't miss a single thing! I was admiring her skills because I do the same where I work and we can't find people like that anymore. She's a rare find, and I enjoyed being waited on by her. Thank you for your service and a fantastic meal along with some great entertainment from the locals playing pool and darts.

Pizza = amazing. Must try!

However, it just seems this place is falling apart. Maybe there isn’t management ? Or maybe people just don’t know what’s going on.. I’m not sure! The vibe here is definitely off since some of the staff have left; that’s for sure.

My husband and I visited last night and man was it a mess. We had to tell our bartender 4 times that we didn’t want olives on our pizza + she forgot our fry order as well (she ended up giving them to us for free but I told her we didn’t want them at this point; it would be a waste of food. She gave them to us anyways)

While we had dinner the music was SO LOUD, plus the bartender ended up changing the station to a full static noise station for a good 3 minutes or so… she kinda looked as if she was drunk.

Now it came to the time to get a box for our pizza and she told us she only had one size … a small box while I seen a guest next to us who had a small pizza box . I pointed and said that’s what I want after asking 3 times for the correct box … comical really. .

Maybe it’s all just new staff I’m not sure … maybe give it some time before. Visiting . .

I will say Katie … maybe her names Kristi .. well she was the best there . Had it clean, knew her stuff and it was always a good vibe .i Hope she finds her...

Not good go there everyweek eat in i ordered a soup to go but i did sit there and have my dinner i looked at my bill i asked what this .25 cent chg was for the manager told me for the styrofoam container for the soup to go i said your kidding me right i have gotten dinners to go while eating there and never was charged the xtra .25 and was not even told while i was eating my dinner if i ordered the soup to go there is a .25 chg for the container. But yet i ordered fish dinner asked for a container to take my left overs home did they chg for that .N o they did not .And i had a waitress was not good customer service never came back to ask if i needed anything else how my food was .Yes for adding a fee to my bill without telling me yes for as little . 25 and the way it happend and the service i will never spend another dime there and its sad i always spoke highly of there food...
