Teriyaki Express — Restaurant in Rockford Township

Over all I had a great experience with Teriyaki express. Their prices are good outside of their fried rice 😳 The super portion of fried rice isn’t worth it at all in my Opinion at 18 dollars, Barely serving 3 people. In Chicago Im use to getting two large (Size of 1 T.E. Super) for that price. But the food was tasty. Out of all my Chinese take out experience from Chicago this place out in Rockford wasnt bad. 1st time ordering Chinese in area after moving here. This place just MEH. Sizes are "Family" or "Super" with zero reference as to actual size (pint, cup, quart???). Ordered the General Tso Chicken - Extra Spicy. Couldn't even taste a tiny bit of spice - was it red pepper or garlic - so mild you couldn't tell. I received a large teriyaki chicken that was all reheated and hard chicken... I called them to ask if they made this to order and they said yes of course... How does this place have these ratings serving this food...? There are so many places that make this fresh to order, go there, thank me later...
