Panda Express — Restaurant in Harlingen

This is the first time in all the years I've been going to this restaurant that I have not been welcomed when I entered to pick up my online order, and had my order so royally F* up. There have been times when I've had one of my entrees mixed up or the wrong side which is not so bad we're all human, but to have ALL 3 of my plates so screwed up and undercooked on top of that is very disappointing. I ordered my usual broccoli beef and orange chicken with fried rice only to get home and find my box had undercooked beef, burned chicken and it was filled to the brim with chow mein noodles that had white rice on top and then a sprinkle of the fried rice on top of that to try and hide the fact that they don't have a damn clue what they're doing. My mom ordered mixed veggies with her green bean chicken/broccoli beef and literally got nothing but 2 pieces of raw undercooked meat and uncooked veggies. My dad ordered Shanghai beef with walnut shrimp and got broccoli beef with no beef and soggy walnut shrimp. I called the store to speak with the manager only to find out he miraculously stepped out, and got thrown around from employee to employee all of whom had no idea what they were doing. I like to think of myself as a panda connoisseur, I’ve to many Pandas all over the country. Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly, store was clean. The fountain drink machine wasn’t working which is pretty on brand for panda, they need to figure that out across the map. I had to get minute made lemonade, which isn’t an issue for me because I enjoy a nice minute made lemonade with my double OC (orange chicken) with chow chow. HOWEVER. This OC was presumably the WORST OC I’ve ever had from panda. Soggy, watery, off tasting weird texture, not right. I’m legitimately worried im about to get food poisoning, a few bites were WAY TOO chickeny…. Im nervous. The chow chow was okay, 4/10 stars, I’ve had worse. Oh and my fork broke half way thru my meal which as a panda enthusiast you know that is a common issue with the new model of forks they switched too back in 15. Gourmet Chinese Food as Fast as you can order nothing beats the response time at this location for sure!! I once witnessed four huge catering orders get finished and made as quick as I got my food, that's how great they are at prioritizing speed of service aswell as accuracy! This location is second to none and as far as I'm concerned should be the flag ship of the company I've had nothing but pure happiness and gratitude towards me as a customer what else can I say except get your family down here and try the amazing Orange Chicken available all year round!
