Where to start.. Prepare all five senses to be spoken to. From the scent of cinnamon smoke to the sound of old hip hop and classic oldies, your palate will be pleased on all fronts.

Upon entry, the dim lighting allows the glow of the bar to emit the subtle invitation of an exotic collection of liquor from across the globe.

Nostalgia strikes the second your eyes set on the old tube TVs, the jukebox, and the classic red diner cups.

Contrasting the memorable red cups are the classic coups, matrini, rocks glasses, highball, and cocktail glassware to elevate your experience, and let's not forget the charming Tiki glasses. They even have shared beverages that come in decorated ceramic bowls ablaze with a flaming volcano overflowing with delight.

Thanks to a carefully selected staff of bartenders, all of the service I have gotten is approachable, accessible (I'm no expert on cocktails!), and inspired by a much appreciated love for the craft. Minh is my go-to for the time honored classics, modern twists, and international specialty drinks like my new favorite, the Tiperrary!

Food is always filling (I eat plenty), and if you're hungry, the smash burger hits the spot!

If you're on a budget or just worn down by the work week, a city wide special is available. 7 bucks gets you a shot and a beer. Who can beat that? Choices on this special are the classic whiskey and a miller life bottle, or a south western style with tequila and Tecate.

I could go on, but I suggest you explore their delicious cocktail menu, and if you're feeling frisky, ask the bartender to make something for you. They never fail to impress.

Cheers to opening your doors, and may they stay open as long as the...

We've been looking forward to visiting the Highdive since hearing of its opening in the old bar on 3rd st... and i have mixed feelings.

The GOOD: Vibes. Love the decore, the two levels, and the theme in general. The smash burger was delicious. The cocktails tasted good and bartender was doing her best for not having a properly prepped station at open and having rude customers heckling her at the seats next to ours.

The BAD: the price of the cocktails is wild for what you're getting. I understand "signature" cocktails have a price tag, but this is in a rougher part of Harrisburg and we're still paying "big city" prices. Also, the ICE! There is way too much ice in the cocktails. So much that it immediately starts to water down the drink. The food portions weren't spectacular either. $14 for a double smash the size of my hand and literally 12 potato chips. That's less than a snack-bag of chips.

The UGLY: Location. North 3rd isn't known for being the best area. Parking is slim too and pay-to-park. The staff also seemed very discombobulated and scattered.

The clientele also seemed odd. We literally had two middle aged women being rude and literally heckling the bartender. It was foul to listen to and watch.

Almost $100 for a burger, 4 cocktails, and a tip. Neat joint but not worth the...

A bar that gets it right! This place perfectly balances the laid-back comfort of a dive bar with the craft and creativity of an upscale cocktail lounge. From the moment you walk in, the bartenders make you feel like you’ve been coming here for years—even if it’s your first visit. They’re personable, attentive, and seriously know their cocktails.

The drinks? Next level. Thoughtfully crafted with unique flavors but still approachable. And the food? Classic bar bites with a twist—unexpected flavors that actually work.

The vibe is what really sets this place apart. Downstairs, it’s cozy, warm, and welcoming—the kind of spot where you can unwind and lose track of time. But head upstairs, and the mood shifts—dim lighting, a bit of a sultry edge, and just the right amount of energy. It’s like two bars in one, and both are worth experiencing.

Whether you’re stopping in for a casual drink or looking for a spot to impress a date, this...

I am so glad to have discovered this new spot in Harrisburg. We stopped in for an evening for appetizers and drinks. Be aware, you do have to park in street parking and may have to pay to park depending on what time you go. They have a nice area downstairs and another upstairs with quite the "divey" vibe. The drinks are excellent. I had the blue Hawaiian which was decorated all cute with a tropical twist. My husband got the Saturn, and he liked the drink despite not being a gin fan. The espresso martini was excellent, highly recommend. I got the pickled eggs for an appetizer, which had a bit too much vinegar for me amongst all the ingredients, but were still good overall. My husband got the chicken dumplings, which he said was tasty with the sauce, but was a bit dry. Overall we had a good experience with excellent service. We just wish they had a bit more options on the food menu.
