Had a rather disappointing dinner here tonight. Ambience is nice enough - though it's a very cramped and so very loud space.
The food was fine, tasty but a bit dull. The Atun (tuna) had a very nice kick to it. A lot of fried food as well - not greasy but the menu seemed a bit dependant on that particular technique
Service was painfully slow. Seemed attentive to start, but after ordering our first round of drinks and food we were essentially ignored (in a room of maybe an even dozen tables) for the next forty-five minutes. Had to get our own menu for the second round of tapas.
Had to flag down the waitress to even put in another order. The first of three tapas arrived and we asked to put dessert in as we were getting a bit pressed for time (at that point we'd been dining for two hours and gotten 2 rounds of drinks and one round of tapas plus 1/3 of our second order). The waitress took our order and the desserts arrived before the rest of the tapas.
The waitress cocked a surprising amount of attitude when we mentioned this. Even more so, one of our party said he could not hear what she said, due to the noise in the space. Her response was, "well, the rest of your table heard me", before walking off.
She appeared to be the only waitstaff for the upstairs (Suba) which may be part of why things were slow, but the attitude was uncalled for and completely soured...

We had plenty of room, amazing food, and access to bartender. Staci and her staff did an amazing job for us. We loved it! I highly recommend Suba to anyone considering a party or get together. Read moreThis is by far my new favorite spot in Harrisburg. Great Spanish wines, superb service, and delicious plates await you, but, show up early as the place is small (rustic) and it began to fill up quickly around 6p on a Saturday. Worth any wait...
