Tacomex — Restaurant in Harrisonburg

Friendly, clean, quick, nice food presentation, large portions, limited outdoor seating, plenty of parking. I got the chicken tacos. They everything on the plate was absolutely amazing. Marinated shredded high quality chicken, lots of toppings and the green beans on side reminded me of my granny's Greenbrae which are so good! I didn't know what to get I knew I didn't want a taco or something I'd had before. They lady told me some things I ended up getting Sopas with steak. OMG it was so good and I ate them all I didn't think I'd finish but it was so good I had to. $13 but it sure was worth it and when I opened the lid they looked so beautiful props to the lady behind the grill it was prepared beautifully nice fresh ingredients too. Easily the best Mexican food I've had on the East Coast, this is just as good as many of the taquerias and food trucks in SoCal. All of the Mexican food trucks in Harrisonburg are great, but Tacomex is king and that's why I keep coming back. The addition of birria to the menu was excellent and I'd love to see them try to blow the minds of unsuspecting locals with ceviche sometime in the future. Mucho amor y todo mi...
