Alright, the ice and gelato is top notch. The service, on the other hand is to be quite frank, abysmal. My girlfriend and I went to zeppes the other night for a nice treat after work. Thankfully, there was no line. In fact there were only three cars parked in the parking lot. I pulled up to their sign and patiently waited for a worker to come take our orders. We waited for right around 3 minutes for one of the employees to come greet us. (there were roughly 6 workers standing on the patio and three in the building standing around and eating ice cream) Finally they came up to our car to take our orders. The cashier was pleasant enough and asked for a tip. I decided to leave 20% because I respect young people working for their money. They assigned me a spot to park and I headed over there. Once parked, we waited for 15 minutes. Three cars pulled into the drivethru and all got their orders and left before someone came over to us, telling us they had forgotten our order. Literally 9 employees all standing around and not one of them thought to themselves to check and see if they had done their job. After about 7 more minutes they brought us our order of two items and left. They weren't very apologetic. They didn't seem to care about what they were doing. They didn't ask what they could do to rectify the situation. Unprofessional, lazy, and thoughtless.

On top of that, the last time I went to that zeppes, less than a month ago I found a 6 inch black hair in my ice because they don't even require their employees to wear proper PPE in...

This rating is for the actual business location. The product still tastes good and we like it but the service and quality is absolutely pathetic. We have gone here since it opened years ago and there has been a dramatic decrease in quality of the received product but this is do to the horrific service. For this type of establishment it is beyond slow. We have gone a few times already this season at different times and the result is the same. From time of order to received product has not been less than 10 minutes and half the order is streaming down the cup by the time it is given. We only order 4 or 5 items and we have had several orders taken after us fulfilled before ours is complete and they are not all smaller orders. Today we went and had 4 orders taken after mine completed before I received my full order; 2 were smaller orders, 1 same size, and 1 bigger. I received half my order after waiting 15 minutes and it took another 5 before getting the rest. Not to mention we were in line waiting to order for 20 minutes and it was not that busy, maybe 5 or six people/parties in front of us upon arrival. Number and consistency of flavor options has also diminished. Used to have 20-30 options and now lucky to see 15. The overall flow of business operations at its current state needs serious reconsideration. We have been very dedicated patrons here for all the years of being open and are on the verge of complete boycotting because this quality of service is hard to stomach no matter how good...
