Aladdin Halal — Restaurant in Hartford

We ordered from them yesterday, Friday around midnight. We were told it's gonna be half hour. After 45 minutes, we called the place. He said the delivery guy is on his way. Few minutes after my husband hung up, he got a call from a guy who barely spoke English, didn't know where he was, didn't know where he was going, all he knew is he was by some construction site. (The hotel is 3 minutes away. He literally had to make a right at the end of the block where the store is, then next block make a left). My husband tried to explain him, but his English is not good and didn't understand it. So he told him to use Google maps ( didn't occur to him to do that before). Food finally arrived an hour late, cold. Called the place to tell him. He asked if we wanted a discount. Told him I'm just telling him so he can train his employees and it won't happen in the future. Then we got the containers out, found no utensils, napkins ( have your soup, rice, chicken without spoon, fork🙄). The kitchen and the hotel restaurant was closed by then. Luckily we got spoons from reception. Only to find out the chicken was undercooked and bloody... I wasn't gonna write a review but no silverware, undercooked food, was just too much after an hour wait for cold food by a delivery guy who has no clue what, when, where he's doing for $50 is...

I have been a loyal and regular customer of Aladdin Hartford location. Last week had a bad experience with one of their salad which I called and talked to Ali about. Told him the meat has gone bad. Ali was polite enough to acknowledge the mistake and offered credit for next order. I understand things can happen sometimes. Now today when I ordered food and before I pay i talked to the cashier and explained him about the credit. Talked to three people and explained them what happened. They gave me the line that they talking to Ali and will let me know. 10 mins later the kid in front Yousuf. Just took my card and swipe it said the total was full as they don't give any credits. He was very rude and disrepecteful. I kept my calm and told them I will not accept it. Then after talking to Ali he gave full credit on my card and said HE WOULD PAY FOR MY FOOD AND I CAN TAKE IT FOR FREE. No one has to pay for my food. I paid for food and probably will not go there for ever just cause of a bad employee. He was trying to be smart , disrespectful and lied to me on my face saying Ali said he would pay for my food. The only reason for giving any stars at all is because the spanikopita was delicious. The pizza however, a complete and utter nightmare! I ordered the Super Supreme pizza... There is absolutely nothing super or supreme about it. Generic bland and under cooked dough, greasy tasteless cheese, RAW red onion, RAW green peppers, sour pepperoni, and sausage dry and flavored like saw dust. The water we served was luke warm. We had to ask twice to get our sodas and for utensils. Keep in mind we were the only guests in the entire place. The employee was playing on his phone behind the counter the entire time. The dishwasher was more help than him! Needless to say I will never be coming back to Aladdin Pizzeria, I'm not ever sure how they've been open all this time.

Edit: The owner is absolutely amazing! Very sweet guy, he remade the pizza. I applaud his hospitality. I can see this place going far with him behind the wheel. Great business...
